Explore Phnom Penh by traditional cyclo, starting at Wat Phnom before visiting the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and National Museum. Browse the vibrant stalls of the Central Market, then learn about the country’s dark history at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, housed in a former high school turned Khmer Rouge prison.

Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
Travel overland to Siem Reap with scenic stops en route. Visit the insect market at Skun and see traditional craftsmanship in Santuk’s stone carving village. Later, explore Kampong Phluk, a floating village set among seasonal wetlands and flooded mangroves. If conditions allow, drift through the forest by rowing boat before continuing to Siem Reap.

Discover Siem Reap
Start early to catch the sunrise over Angkor Wat. Enjoy breakfast near the temple complex, then explore Angkor Thom, including Bayon with its serene stone faces, the Terrace of Elephants, and the 11th-century temples of Baphuon and Phimeanakas. End the day at Ta Prohm, where jungle roots have reclaimed ancient walls.
