Day 1 - San Jose - Samara
Upon arrival at Juan Santamaría Airport, a representative will welcome you and escort you to your transport. You will then travel to Samara Beach on the North Pacific Coast of Guanacaste Province, with an expected hotel check-in around 3:00 pm. Once settled, you have free time to explore Samara and its surroundings, known for their relaxed atmosphere and beautiful coastal setting. The area offers a variety of water and outdoor activities such as horseback riding, stand-up paddleboarding, sport fishing, surfing, canopy tours, yoga and kayaking, all available at your own expense. You will spend the night in Samara.
Day 2 - Samara
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out from Samara Beach for a boat excursion 2 to 10 miles offshore. Enjoy the fresh ocean breeze and take in the coastal views as we search for marine life. You may spot spotted dolphins, Central American spinner dolphins, common bottlenose dolphins, and, seasonally from August to November, humpback whales. On the return journey, we anchor near Isla Chora, a charming white-sand beach home to hermit crabs and iguanas. Here, you can swim in the clear blue waters and explore the vibrant underwater world. Fresh fruit snacks are provided before we return to the hotel for the evening. Overnight in Samara.
Day 3 - Samara - San Jose
After breakfast, we will collect you from your hotel in Samara and transfer you to Juan Santamaría Airport for your onward journey.
