Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to Prague. Upon arrival at the airport, we’ll transfer you to your hotel. Please check the information boards in the reception area for details regarding the welcome meeting with your guide. In the evening, we’ll take you to Old Town Square, a vibrant hub full of activity. You can enjoy dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants offering a range of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. Afterwards, we will provide transportation back to the hotel.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Prague
Today, we explore Prague, the Baroque gem of Europe. Our local guide will lead a panoramic tour of the city’s most remarkable landmarks, including a visit to Prague Castle, with admission included. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a boat ride on the Vltava River, taking in the city from a unique perspective. The afternoon is yours to discover Prague at your own pace.
Day 3 - Prague - Pilsen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
We’ll set off early from Prague and head to Pilsen in western Bohemia, a city celebrated for its brewing heritage. You’ll have time to explore the historic centre, including the Old Town Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column, and the Renaissance town hall. Continuing into Germany, we’ll travel along part of the Romantic Road to Rothenburg, a picturesque town often described as one of the most beautiful in the country. In the evening, we’ll arrive in Frankfurt, Germany’s financial capital, where you’ll enjoy free time in the historic city centre, which offers a diverse range of dining options including Indian, Asian, Italian, and international cuisines.
Day 4 - Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam
Today, we embark on a scenic cruise along the Rhine between Rüdesheim and St. Goar, a stretch renowned for its stunning river views and charming villages. After the leisurely boat trip, we travel to Cologne, famous for its impressive Gothic cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, we continue towards the Netherlands, arriving in Amsterdam in the evening.
Day 5 - Amsterdam
Today we’ll explore quintessential Dutch landscapes and charming villages. Our first stop is Zaanse Schans, known for its well-preserved traditional houses, canals, and working windmills. Next, we visit Volendam, a picturesque fishing village famous for its harbour and historic character. From Volendam, we take a short boat ride to Marken, a former island now linked to the mainland by a dike, where houses were traditionally built on stilts to guard against flooding. In the afternoon, we enjoy a guided tour of Amsterdam, highlighting the iconic windmill and Rembrandt statue, the modern elegance of the South District, and the city’s renowned diamond-cutting heritage at Museum Square. The coach tour ends in the city centre, where you’ll have free time to explore Amsterdam’s canals, markets and cafés at your own pace.
Day 6 - Amsterdam - Brussels - Paris
After breakfast, we travel to Belgium, covering a little over 200 kilometres to reach Brussels, the nation’s capital and seat of major European institutions. We will admire the magnificent Grand Place, a fine example of Flemish Baroque architecture, and take a stroll past the iconic Manneken Pis statue. Brussels offers a unique blend of history, chocolate culture, and modern life. In the afternoon, we continue into France, arriving in Paris at the end of the day to rest and prepare for the days ahead.
Day 7 - Paris
We begin the day with a visit to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, celebrated for its grandeur and extensive gardens (admission not included). Upon returning to Paris, we explore Montmartre, a distinctive bohemian district known for its artistic heritage, lively cafés, and cabarets. To capture the essence of the city, we then enjoy a panoramic tour led by a local guide, highlighting Paris’s elegant avenues and iconic landmarks. The day concludes with a return to the hotel. In the evening, you may choose to attend an optional variety show for a classic Parisian entertainment experience.
Day 8 - Paris - Rouen
We begin the day in central Paris with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, including tickets to ascend to the second floor of this renowned iron landmark. Following this, we enjoy a leisurely boat cruise along the Seine, taking in the city's famous riverside sights. The afternoon is yours to explore Paris at your own pace. At around 4:00 p.m., we depart Paris and travel to Normandy, arriving in Rouen. You’ll have free time to wander the historic centre of this vibrant city, known for its Roman origins, charming medieval streets, and impressive Gothic cathedral. Please note, if there are long waiting times at the Eiffel Tower, we may adjust the visit to another time for your convenience.
Day 9 - Rouen - English Channel - Canterbury - London
We’ll begin the day with a leisurely stroll through the historic centre of Rouen, taking in its medieval streets and impressive Gothic cathedral. Afterwards, we travel north across France to the coast, where we board a ferry to cross the English Channel. Upon arrival in England, we visit Canterbury—the country’s religious heart—where you can explore its charming historic centre. Our journey then continues to London, where you’ll have some free time near Tower Bridge, one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks, before we transfer to our hotel.
Day 10 - London
Today we explore London on a panoramic tour with a local guide, highlighting the city’s rich culture and history. You’ll see iconic landmarks including the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace, where you may witness the Changing of the Guard, depending on the schedule. In the evening, we’ll gather in Piccadilly to enjoy a stroll through the vibrant areas of Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho—known for their lively atmosphere, theatres, and dining options. You’ll have plenty of choice for dinner before we return to the hotel.
Day 11 - London
After breakfast, we’ll visit the British Museum, one of the world’s oldest and most celebrated museums, home to a vast collection of artefacts from across the globe. Around lunchtime, we’ll transfer you to Camden, renowned for its lively and diverse market where you can explore a wide array of goods at your own pace. The afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish before the tour concludes, leaving you with lasting memories. Please check your flight time carefully, as you may need to arrange an additional night’s accommodation.
