Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to the enchanting city of Prague! Upon your arrival at the airport, we will arrange your transfer to the hotel so you can settle in comfortably. Be sure to check the hotel reception area for details about your welcome meeting with the guide, which will be displayed on the information boards. In the evening, we will take you to the vibrant Old Town Square, a hub of activity that buzzes with the energy of visitors from around the world. Here, you can choose to dine at one of the many delightful restaurants offering a diverse range of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. After your meal, a convenient transfer will be available for your return to the hotel. Please bear in mind that the group may have travellers joining or departing at different stages of the tour, though we always ensure the group size remains within our set limits. Day 2 - Prague
Today, we delve into the majestic city of Prague, often hailed as the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our exploration begins with a panoramic tour led by an experienced local guide who will uncover the city's most significant monuments. Our journey includes a visit to the historic Prague Castle, with admission included. Following this, relax with a leisurely boat ride on the Vltava River, providing a unique perspective of the city’s stunning architecture. The afternoon is yours to enjoy, allowing you the freedom to discover more of Prague at your own pace. Whether it's wandering through cobbled streets or sampling local delicacies, the choice is yours.
Day 3 - Prague - Pilsen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
We will set off early from Prague, making our first stop in Pilsen, a city in western Bohemia famed for its beer. You'll have the opportunity to wander through its historic centre, where notable sights include the Old Town Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column, and a Renaissance-era town hall. Afterwards, we will cross into Germany, travelling part of the famed Romantic Road to visit Rothenburg. This enchanting town resembles a scene from a fairy tale and is renowned as one of the most beautiful villages in Germany. Later in the day, we'll proceed to Frankfurt, the financial hub of Germany. Upon our evening arrival, you will have free time to explore the historic city centre, which offers a wide range of dining options, including Indian, Asian, Italian, and other international cuisines.
Day 4 - Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam
Today, we embark on a delightful cruise along the Rhine, exploring the river's most scenic stretch between Rüdesheim and St. Goar. Enjoy the breathtaking views of castles and vineyards dotting the riverbanks as we glide through this picturesque region. After our cruise, we travel to Cologne, famed for its impressive Gothic cathedral, a masterpiece of medieval architecture. Later in the day, we continue our journey to the Netherlands, arriving in the vibrant city of Amsterdam by evening.
Day 5 - Amsterdam
Today, we embark on a journey to discover the idyllic charm of the Netherlands. Our first destination is Zaanse Schans, a picturesque village characterised by its traditional Dutch houses, winding canals, and iconic windmills. Next, we visit the scenic fishing village of Volendam, where you’ll have the chance to experience its quaint atmosphere and beautiful waterfront views. From Volendam, enjoy a short boat ride to Marken, a village once separated from the mainland that is now connected by a permanent dike. Here, the houses stand on stilts, a historic architectural adaptation to the region’s tendency for flooding.In the afternoon, we return to Amsterdam for a guided tour of the city’s highlights. We'll capture the quintessential Dutch scene with a windmill view and visit the striking Rembrandt statue. Witness the modern sophistication of the South District alongside the historic artistry of diamond cutting around Museum Square. Our tour will conclude with a walk through the heart of Amsterdam, after which you are free to explore the city's renowned canals, vibrant markets, and cosy cafés at your leisure.
Day 6 - Amsterdam - Hamelin - Berlin
Departing from Amsterdam, we journey into Germany with our first stop being the enchanting town of Hamelin. Known for its charm and connections to the famous Pied Piper tale by the Brothers Grimm, this quaint town offers delightful streets and intriguing shops that capture its storybook allure. Continuing our adventure, we make our way to Berlin. En route, we pass through Marienborn, the once-divided border point that separated East and West Germany until 1990—a poignant reminder of Europe’s recent history. We'll arrive in Berlin in the evening, ready to unwind and prepare for the explorations that lie ahead.
Day 7 - Berlin
Discover the vibrant culture of Berlin, the remarkable capital of Germany, with a comprehensive tour guided by a local expert. From the comfort of our coach, you'll experience the city's highlights: the historic Museum Island, the iconic Television Tower, the bustling shopping streets of the city centre, the old cathedral that bears the scars of World War II, the renowned Brandenburg Gate, the imposing Reichstag building, and the city's wide-open parks.
