Day 1 - Paris
Welcome to Paris! Upon your arrival, we'll arrange your transfer to the hotel, where you can enjoy some free time to unwind. Later in the afternoon, you'll receive details about the start of your tour, either from the hotel reception or through clearly marked information signs. Please be aware that travellers may join or leave the group at various points along the journey, but rest assured that the group size will always remain within its maximum limit. Enjoy the start of your adventure in this enchanting city. Day 2 - Paris
We begin our day by delving into the grandeur of the Palace of Versailles, a symbol of French history and opulence with its exquisite gardens and striking architecture. Although the entrance fee is not included, its magnificent beauty is worth every moment spent. Once back in Paris, we explore Montmartre, the enchanting bohemian quarter, once home to many celebrated artists and known for its bustling cabarets. To capture the essence of Paris, we embark on a panoramic city tour with a knowledgeable local guide, driving through the city's grand avenues, past iconic landmarks, and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. As our tour concludes, we will head back to the hotel. For those looking to extend their day, an optional evening variety show is available to experience more of the city's cultural offerings.
Day 3 - Paris - Rouen
Our day begins in the heart of Paris with an unforgettable visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, where you'll ascend to the second floor and enjoy the spectacular views of the cityscape (tickets included). Afterwards, we take to the waters for a tranquil cruise along the Seine, offering a unique perspective of Paris's architectural beauty. The afternoon is yours to discover more of the city's charm at your own pace. Around 4:00 p.m., we depart Paris and set off for Normandy, arriving in the historic city of Rouen. Here, you'll have free time to explore the ancient streets of this fascinating city, famed for its medieval architecture and magnificent Gothic cathedral, providing a captivating glimpse into the past. Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are excessive, we may rearrange your visit to a more convenient time, potentially on Sunday.
Day 4 - Rouen - English Channel - Canterbury - London
Today, we invite you to wander through the historic centre of Rouen, where you can soak up the charm of its medieval streets and take in the stunning Gothic architecture. Following our morning in Rouen, we will journey north to the coast of France. Here, we board a ferry to cross the English Channel, a passage rich with history and significance. Our destination is Canterbury, the ecclesiastical heart of England, renowned for its quaint historic centre and vibrant atmosphere. Afterward, we continue to the bustling metropolis of London. Upon arrival, enjoy some free time near Tower Bridge, one of London's most recognisable landmarks, before we make our way to the hotel.
Day 5 - London
Explore the vibrant city of London with a panoramic tour led by a local guide, offering insights into the city's rich culture and heritage. You will visit iconic landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace, where you may witness the Changing of the Guard, subject to timing. In the evening, we'll regroup at Piccadilly for a leisurely stroll through the lively areas of Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, known for their dynamic atmosphere and array of theatres and entertainment. With a variety of dining options available, you can choose the perfect spot for dinner before we head back to the hotel.
Day 6 - London
Following breakfast, we will visit the British Museum, renowned for being one of the world’s oldest museums, housing a diverse collection of artefacts from cultures across the globe. After our tour, you will have a transfer to Camden, renowned for its energetic and eclectic market. Here, you can explore an array of items reflecting various cultures. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace, allowing you to discover more of Camden or explore other parts of London. As our journey concludes, we hope you leave with splendid memories. Please check your flight schedule in case an extra night might be necessary.
