You’ll explore Germany’s vibrant capital and artistic Dresden before crossing into the Czech Republic to discover Prague’s Baroque charm and castle. The journey continues through Bavaria to Innsbruck’s alpine beauty and on to Switzerland’s picturesque Interlaken and Lucerne. Crossing into Italy, you’ll visit Milan, Pisa, and the iconic sights of Rome, followed by a flight to Spain. Day 1 - Berlin
Upon arrival in Berlin, you will be transferred directly to your hotel, where you’ll have some free time to relax and settle in. Later in the afternoon, you can find important information about the start of your tour on the notice boards located at the hotel reception. This initial day allows you to familiarise yourself with your surroundings at a comfortable pace.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Berlin
We begin the day with a guided tour of Berlin, Germany’s dynamic capital. From the coach, we’ll see key sights including Museum Island, the Television Tower, the main shopping streets, the Old Cathedral (destroyed during World War II), Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and the city’s extensive parks. We’ll make stops at the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum—two poignant reminders of the nation’s 20th-century history. Your afternoon is free to explore Berlin at your own pace. In the early evening, we’ll transfer you to the vibrant Kantstrasse district for dinner or further independent discovery.
Day 3 - Berlin - Dresden - Prague
We’ll travel through forested landscapes to Dresden, a city celebrated for its remarkable architecture and artistic heritage, making it one of Germany’s premier cultural destinations. You’ll have time to visit some of its magnificent palaces and enjoy lunch at one of the many local restaurants or cafés. In the afternoon, we continue to Prague in the Czech Republic. Upon arrival, we’ll visit the vibrant Old Town Square—an ideal introduction to the city’s lively atmosphere. You can dine at any of the numerous nearby restaurants offering a wide range of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. Afterwards, we’ll transfer you back to the hotel for the evening.
Day 4 - Prague
Today we explore Prague, often called the Baroque jewel of Europe. Accompanied by a local guide, we undertake a panoramic city tour that highlights Prague’s most remarkable landmarks. Included in the visit is Prague Castle, the historic seat of Czech kings and presidents. Following the castle tour, we enjoy a relaxing boat trip on the Vltava River, offering a unique perspective of the city’s skyline. The afternoon is yours to discover Prague at your own pace.
Day 5 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
We’ll depart early and travel to Bavaria, arriving in Munich around midday. You’ll have free time to explore the historic city centre at your leisure and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we continue to Austria, arriving in Innsbruck, nestled in the heart of the Alps. You’ll have time to explore the Old Town and the area surrounding the famous Golden Roof. Dinner in this scenic part of the city is also included before we overnight here.
Day 6 - Innsbruck - Zurich
We begin the day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum, renowned for its exquisite crystal craftsmanship. We’ll explore the museum’s impressive gardens and discover how Swarovski pieces are created. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to wander the surroundings before we continue our journey to Zurich. Along the way, enjoy the stunning Tyrolean landscape. In Zurich, spend the evening in the historic city centre by the lake, where you can choose from a variety of restaurants serving Indian, Oriental, Italian, international, and Swiss cuisine.
Day 7 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today’s journey takes us through some of Switzerland’s most striking alpine scenery. We’ll travel to the Interlaken region, surrounded by towering mountains and clear lakes. Our first stop is Grindelwald, where we’ll pause for coffee before taking a cable car up the mountain. From there, we’ll follow a winding path leading to a suspended bridge—an option for those feeling adventurous to cross and enjoy stunning views of the glaciers. Lunch is included on the mountain before we descend. Afterwards, we’ll visit Lucerne, widely regarded as one of Switzerland’s most beautiful cities, where you’ll have free time to explore its charming streets and lakeside setting. We’ll then return to Zurich for the evening. Your guide will also offer an optional full-day excursion, beginning in the morning, including a rotating cable car ride to the summit of Mount Titlis at over 3,000 metres, renowned for its panoramic views of the glacier and surrounding Alps.
Day 8 - Zurich - Bellinzona - Como - Milan
We depart Zurich early, crossing the Alps into Switzerland’s Italian-speaking region. Our first stop is Bellinzona, famous for its trio of medieval castles that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These hilltop fortresses offer insight into Bellinzona’s historic role as a strategic alpine defence point. You’ll have some free time to explore the charming streets of the old town. Next, we enter Italy and pause in Como for lunch. Nestled beside Lake Como, this picturesque town is renowned for its elegant gardens and its striking cathedral. After lunch, we continue to Milan where our guide will lead a visit to Piazza del Duomo. You’ll have some time to explore the area independently before we transfer you to the hotel.
Day 9 - Milan - Pisa - Rome
Today we travel from Milan to Pisa, where we take a small tourist train to the Piazza dei Miracoli, home to one of Italy’s most remarkable art complexes. Here you’ll have time to admire the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and the surrounding architectural gems. Later, we continue to Rome, arriving in the evening to settle into your accommodation.
Day 10 - Rome
This morning, we’ll set out on a three-hour guided tour of Rome, combining a walking exploration of Imperial Rome with a panoramic coach ride. You’ll see key landmarks including the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour concludes at Vatican City around 11.00 a.m., where there will be an optional visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Later in the day, we’ll transfer you to the Trastevere district, known for its vibrant atmosphere and cosy restaurants. The return transfer to the hotel is scheduled for approximately 8.30 p.m.
Day 11 - Rome - Madrid
We’ll transfer you to the airport at the designated time to catch your included domestic flight. Upon arrival, we’ll provide another transfer to your hotel. Your guide will be in touch by late afternoon, or you can check the information boards at the hotel reception. Please note that checked luggage on domestic flights is typically limited to one suitcase of up to 20kg; any excess baggage fees must be paid directly to the airline.
Day 12 - Madrid
We begin the day with a thorough tour of central Madrid, taking in key landmarks such as Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. Next, we visit Retiro Park, a tranquil green space in the heart of the city, where we see the lake and the Palacio de Cristal. Admission is included to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home to Real Madrid, one of the world’s most renowned football clubs. You will have free time in the afternoon to explore Madrid at your own pace. In the evening, we provide a transfer back to the hotel.
Day 13 - Madrid - Zaragoza - Poblet - Barcelona
We depart Madrid this morning and travel through the Castile region towards Aragón. Our first stop is Zaragoza, where we admire the striking Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, an important pilgrimage site with impressive Baroque architecture. We then continue to Poblet Abbey, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in Europe, and visit the site with admission included. In the evening, we arrive in Barcelona to conclude the day’s travel.
Day 14 - Barcelona
We begin the day with a panoramic tour of Barcelona, one of Europe’s most captivating cities. Situated on the Mediterranean coast, the city is famous for Gaudí’s modernist architecture, its bustling Las Ramblas, and its rich cultural heritage shaped by past World Expositions and the Olympic Games. The tour concludes at Maremagnum, a contemporary leisure and dining complex by the sea near Columbus Square, where you can enjoy a relaxed stroll. The afternoon is yours to explore at leisure before we return to the hotel later in the day.
Day 15 - Barcelona
After breakfast, your tour concludes, leaving you with many wonderful memories from your journey.
