Day 1 - Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport, we’ll meet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel – a smooth start to your journey. After you check in, the rest of the day is at leisure – you can unwind after your flight or explore the area around your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 - Delhi - New Delhi
After breakfast, we set out on a full day exploration of Delhi, beginning in Old Delhi. We visit the Red Fort – an enduring symbol of Mughal power – followed by Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques.We then experience the bustle of Chandni Chowk on a cycle rickshaw ride through its narrow lanes and visit Khari Baoli, one of Asia’s largest spice markets. We pay our respects at Raj Ghat, the memorial at Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation site.In New Delhi, we explore Humayun’s Tomb – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – and the soaring Qutab Minar, a 73 metre minaret from the 12th century. We also visit the serene Lotus Temple. The day concludes with a drive past the President’s House, Parliament House and India Gate, taking in the city’s grand avenues. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 - Delhi
Delhi – Agra (204 km – approx. 4 hours) After breakfast, we drive to Agra, a city renowned for its Mughal-era architecture. On arrival, we visit the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World – admire its white marble in the morning light. We continue to Agra Fort, the UNESCO listed stronghold that served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors, before visiting the delicate Itmad–ud–Daula Tomb, often called the Baby Taj for its intricate craftsmanship. Day 4 - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Abhaneri - Abhaneri
After breakfast, we leave Agra for Jaipur – a journey of about 245 km, roughly five hours – with visits to Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri en route. At Fatehpur Sikri, founded in 1569 by Emperor Akbar and abandoned 15 years later due to water scarcity, we explore its red sandstone complex, including Diwan–E–Khas, Jodha Bais Palace, Jama Masjid, the Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and Buland Darwaza. We then continue to Abhaneri, a small village known for Chand Baori, one of India’s deepest and largest stepwells, and the nearby Harshat Mata Temple.On arrival in Jaipur, we check in to your hotel. The evening is at leisure – you can explore the markets and streets of the Pink City. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 - Jaipur
After a leisurely breakfast, we set out for a full-day exploration of Jaipur’s forts, palaces and cultural landmarks. We begin at Amber Fort – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – perched above Maota Lake, where we wander through its palaces, courtyards and gardens and enjoy sweeping views from the ramparts. We continue to nearby Jaigarh Fort, built to protect Amber and commanding views over the hills. Back in the city, we tour the City Palace complex, home to museums, galleries and intricately decorated courtyards, then visit Jantar Mantar to see Maharaja Jai Singh II’s remarkable astronomical instruments. Later, we stop at the marble Birla Temple before viewing the iconic façade of Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. We finish at Johri Bazar, renowned for jewellery, textiles and handicrafts – you can browse for souvenirs before we return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 - Jaipur - Delhi
After a leisurely breakfast, you have free time to relax or explore Jaipur at your own pace. Later, we drive the 265 km back to Delhi – around five hours by road – and drop you directly at the airport for your onward journey.
