Itinerary
Day 1 - Denpasar - Ubud
Meet your driver at your hotel reception around noon for the transfer to Ubud. En route, we stop to visit a local healer – a charismatic priestess from a family of healers spanning five generations. She uses palm and energy readings in her practice, offering insights that may surprise you. Following the consultation, you have the option to join a traditional Balinese purification ceremony called Melukat, led by Ibu Jero. This ritual is believed to cleanse the body on physical, emotional and spiritual levels. After the ceremony, we transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Please note, to fully participate in today’s activities, we recommend arriving before midday or booking an additional night in advance. Overnight in Ubud.
Day 2 - Ubud - Undisan - Tembuku
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before meeting your driver in the lobby for a refreshing morning outing. We travel to Mas village, just east of Ubud, to visit a renowned mask maker celebrated for his intricate craftsmanship. You will have the unique opportunity to meet him and learn about his passion and the cultural significance of his work, often featured in traditional performances. Afterwards, enjoy a picnic lunch on the edge of Campuhan Hill, where colourful cushions are laid out for you to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. Savour a selection of gourmet treats and homemade delicacies in this tranquil setting. Following this leisurely afternoon, we return you to your hotel in Undisan, where you can spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 3 - Tembuku
On day three, begin your morning at 9:00 am with a warm welcome from a local Balinese guide who will lead you on a walk through the heart of the village. As you reach the rice fields, enjoy a traditional Balinese cake for breakfast. Your guide will then introduce you to age-old farming techniques, demonstrating how to plough the fields using a pair of cows or buffalo and how to plant rice seeds. Refresh yourself with fresh young coconut water before enjoying lunch in a rustic hut nestled among the rice paddies. After lunch, take a gentle trek through the fields and visit Pura Dalem Temple, dedicated to the god Shiva, as well as a nearby waterfall. You will also meet skilled silver and goldsmiths who craft jewellery for Balinese dancers and wedding ceremonies. Later, visit a traditional Balinese house compound to participate in local customs such as making offerings and experiencing a brief introduction to traditional music, including Gamelan or Rindik. To conclude the day, return to your hotel for a cooking class where you will learn the secrets of Balinese cuisine, followed by dinner.
Day 4 - Kecamatan Denpasar Utara
After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your driver at the arranged time for your transfer to Denpasar International Airport to continue with your onward travel plans.
