Arrtival in Tokyo
Arrive in Tokyo and check into your hostel in the historic Asakusa district, where your tour guide will welcome you. This evening, we’ll indulge in a Japanese feast and get to know our fellow group members. After dinner, once the crowds have thinned, we’ll take a peaceful stroll to explore the iconic Senso-ji Temple under the night sky.

Tokyo Exploration
We’ll begin the morning with a Japan Orientation Briefing, where you’ll learn some essential Japanese customs and phrases to help you throughout your journey. Our first stop is Harajuku, the heart of Japanese teen pop culture, where vibrant fashion and creativity come to life. From there, we’ll make our way to the peaceful surroundings of Yoyogi Park, home to the magnificent Meiji Shrine, offering a serene contrast to the bustling city.
Next, we’ll head into the electric energy of Akihabara, Tokyo’s hub of neon lights and quirky charm. This lively district is packed with arcades, unique shops, and the famous Maid Cafes. Whether you fancy a friendly arcade challenge, a taste of local café culture, or simply wandering through the vibrant streets, Akihabara promises an unforgettable sensory experience.

Tokyo at leisure, Shinjuku & Shibuya
You have free time in the morning to explore at your own pace, with your guide on hand to assist with planning your itinerary. You can choose to take part in a sushi-making class, visiting the Imperial Palace, or simply wandering through the city’s charming streets.
In the evening, we’ll head to Shinjuku to admire the breathtaking Tokyo skyline. From there, you can explore the famous Omoide Yokocho Alley and enjoy dinner before experiencing the vibrant energy of the iconic Shibuya Pedestrian Crossing.

Mt. Fuji Viewing & Romance Car
Tokyo - Hakone. Today after breakfast, we journey from Tokyo on the aptly named Romance Car to the charming mountain town of Hakone. Upon arrival, we’ll settle into our guesthouse surrounded by stunning mountain scenery.
The day will be spent exploring Hakone’s scenic beauty using various modes of transport, each offering a unique perspective of the area. What makes Hakone truly special? Its delicious local cuisine and the chance to take in breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji on clear days. After a day of exploration and capturing memories of Japan’s iconic mountain, we’ll come together for a traditional Japanese Nabe dinner at the guesthouse, followed by some lighthearted family games to wrap up the evening.

Gion District Walking Tour & Yakitori
Hakone -Nagoya - Kyoto. This morning, we’ll board the train taking a bullet train from Hakone journeying to Kyoto.
Kyoto is a city steeped in history, known for its stunning shrines, ancient temples, and the iconic Geishas. It offers a wonderful opportunity for us to find a sense of calm as we wander through its charming, narrow alleyways.
In the evening, we’ll take a gentle stroll through the famous Gion district, celebrated for its traditional Geisha performances. If luck is on your side, you may even catch a glimpse of a Geisha in her elegant attire, adding a touch of magic to your evening.

Kiyomizu-Dera & Fushimi-Inari
We’ll start our day early, taking the subway to Fushimi-Inari Shrine to arrive before the crowds. Wandering through the endless red torii gates, we’ll soak in the serene beauty of this iconic mountain path.
Next, we’ll visit Kiyomizu-Dera, one of Japan’s most celebrated temples. Perched on the mountainside, its impressive bamboo and wooden structure offers stunning views and a glimpse into Japan’s history. If you want to experience the traditional side of Japan, you can choose to Visit the Nishiki Market participate in a tea ceremony and rent a kimono.

Bamboo Forest & Monkey Mountain
Kyoto - Arashiyama - Kyoto. In the morning, we'll avoid the crowds and catch the train to the Arashiyama district. Nestled among mountainous valleys with a river winding through it, this beautiful area offers plenty to explore. We'll begin by strolling through the picturesque bamboo forest, then hike up to Monkey Mountain. After descending, you will have the option of taking a traditional Japanese boat to explore the valleys in the traditional Japanese way. After you will have the rest of the day at leisure.

Golden Pavilion, Zen Garden, Osaka Food Walk
Kyoto - Osaka. This morning, we will visit the magnificent Golden Pavilion, a stunning gold-adorned structure surrounded by tranquil lakes that beautifully mirror its splendour. Afterwards, we'll make our way to Daitoku-Ji, a serene complex of temples and gardens tucked away from the bustling tourist areas. This peaceful spot offers the perfect setting to relax and connect with Kyoto's rich history.
We then continue on to Osaka, where the evening will take us to the lively Dotonbori district. Known as the "kitchen of Japan," this vibrant area is filled with an exciting mix of food, lights, and colour. Your guide will take you to the best street food spots, giving you the opportunity to sample local specialities that have earned Osaka its reputation as a food lover's paradise. We’ll wrap up the evening with a fun session of karaoke and drinks! (drinks not included)

Osaka Castle Gardens & Shinsekai
After a night of festivities, we’ll give you the morning off to explore Osaka at your leisure. You can visit America-mura, known for its unique shops and cafés, or relax at Spa World, a large facility offering baths and wellness treatments inspired by different international themes. Alternatively, dive into Japan’s culinary culture at the Ramen Museum, where you can taste various regional varieties of this beloved dish.
In the evening, we’ll regroup to visit the historic Osaka Castle, a stunning landmark surrounded by beautiful gardens and moats. After watching the sunset, we’ll head to Shinsekai, often seen as Dotonbori’s smaller counterpart. Here, we’ll enjoy a variety of local dishes, wander the neon-lit streets, and soak in the lively atmosphere that makes this area so special.

Nara Park & Osaka Nightlife
We begin the day early with a 45-minute train ride out of Osaka to the picturesque city of Nara. Known for its harmonious relationship with deer, Nara holds a special place in history as the former capital of ancient Japan. Upon arrival, we’ll stroll toward the main park, where you can admire the peaceful surroundings and visit the impressive temples.
After exploring the tranquil park and remarkable temples, we’ll return to Osaka. Once back in the city, you’ll have the chance to explore its various districts or, if you’re keen to discover the hidden side of Osaka, you can join a local guide on the Osaka Backstreets tour.

Peace Memorial & Hiroshima Guided Tour
After a relaxed morning, we journey to the historic city of Hiroshima. Upon arrival, we'll check into our accommodation and make our way to the poignant Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Here, a local guide will lead us through the park, sharing insights about its significant history. We’ll visit the Atomic Dome, ring the Peace Bell, and pay respects at the Eternal Flame.
Next, we’ll explore the museum, where we’ll gain a deeper understanding of Hiroshima’s tragic past. Our day concludes with a meal, reflecting on the lasting impact of this remarkable city.

Miyajima Island
Today, we head to the picturesque Miyajima Island, just an hour from Hiroshima by metro. After a short ferry ride, we'll arrive on the island, known for its serene forests and ancient temples. Spend your time exploring the iconic Great Torii gate, which sits just offshore and is partially submerged at high tide.
The afternoon is free to wander the island at your leisure, soaking in its natural beauty. In the evening, we’ll gather one last time as a group for our final night in Japan.

Today, we bid farewell to our group and the new friends you've made during your tour. We hope you've enjoyed your experience in Japan!
