With plenty of flexibility built in, the trip is ideal for surfers and non-surfers alike. You can spend your days riding the waves at Lassarga Point, trying sandboarding in the dunes, or heading out on a camel ride across the desert landscape. Other highlights include visiting the striking White Dune, sampling fresh oysters straight from a local farm, and exploring the remote Imlili Lagoon and Asmaa Hot Springs. Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Dakhla
Arrive into Dakhla Airport and transfer to your accommodation. Depending on arrival time, you may wish to take a gentle stroll along the seafront and enjoy the coastal atmosphere as the sun sets over the lagoon.
Day 2 - Surfing at Lassarga Point
Today, head to Lassarga Point for a surfing session. This spot is well suited to both beginners and intermediate surfers, with consistent Atlantic swells and open beaches. If you are not surfing, you can visit the striking White Dune or explore Dakhla town at a relaxed pace.
Day 3 - Dunes, Camels and Sandboarding
You can continue surfing today, or opt for a change of pace with a camel ride through the nearby dunes. There is also the opportunity to try sandboarding, a fun way to experience the desert landscape that surrounds Dakhla.
Day 4 - Surf and Oyster Tasting
Another day to enjoy the surf, or you may choose to visit a local oyster farm on the lagoon. Dakhla is known for its oyster cultivation, and this is a chance to sample exceptionally fresh oysters straight from the source.
Day 5 - Imlili Lagoon and Hot Springs
You may continue surfing, or take a scenic excursion north of Dakhla to the Imlili Lagoon and the Asmaa Hot Springs. The lagoon is famous for its natural salt pools, while the hot springs offer a relaxing contrast to the coastal activities of previous days.
Day 6 - Departure from Dakhla
After breakfast, transfer to Dakhla Airport for departure.
