Itinerary
Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park. Once you have arrived in Arusha, you will be met, and we will start the journey toward Tarangire National Park.
After arriving at the park, we begin an afternoon game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the landscapes of Tarangire.
The park is known for its large elephant population, with herds of up to 300 elephants often found near dry riverbeds where underground water can still be reached during the dry season.
As we continue exploring the park, we look out for wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo, which are commonly seen migrating around the shrinking lagoons.
Later in the day, we transfer for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 - Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park. We will continue our journey into Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous national parks in Africa and home to some of the continent’s most remarkable wildlife experiences.
The Serengeti is best known for the Great Migration, where large herds of wildebeest and zebra move across the plains throughout the year. This vast ecosystem also supports an impressive number of predators, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
During our game drive, we explore the Serengeti and look out for the remarkable wildlife that inhabits this famous national park.
Later, we transfer for dinner and an overnight stay in the Serengeti area.
Day 3 - Serengeti Game Drive

This morning, we spend the day exploring the vast plains of Serengeti National Park on an extended game drive through one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas.
The Serengeti supports an extraordinary variety of animals, and throughout the day we look out for buffalo, hippopotamus, elephant, giraffe, antelope, Thomson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, and lions moving across the open plains. If travelling during the wildebeest migration, we may also witness the movement of vast herds crossing the Serengeti ecosystem.
As we continue through the park, there are opportunities to spot monkeys, a wide range of birdlife, and some of the Serengeti’s most famous predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. We may also encounter rhino and observe wildlife across the park's rivers, grasslands, and bush landscapes.
In the late afternoon, we head out for another game drive, continuing our search for wildlife across the grasslands, rivers, and bush landscapes, before heading back to our accommodation for dinner.
Day 4 - Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater. We leave the Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a scenic drive as we make our way to one of Tanzania’s most remarkable natural landmarks.
On arrival, we are greeted by impressive views across the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact and unflooded volcanic caldera. Formed from the collapse of an ancient volcano that may once have rivalled Mount Kilimanjaro in size, the crater stretches approximately 19 km across and is enclosed by steep walls rising more than 600 metres from the crater floor.
Situated at around 2,300 metres above sea level, this is the highest point of our journey. After our time on the lower plains, the cooler temperatures provide a welcome change.
During the afternoon, you can enjoy a short nature walk to learn more about the local flora and fauna or spend time relaxing at the lodge or camp while taking in the spectacular views across the crater.
Later, we enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire National Park. This morning we have an early start as we descend approximately 600 metres to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive through one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas.
The crater is home to an impressive concentration of wildlife, including elephant, rhinoceros, lion, hyena, zebra, wildebeest, Thomson's gazelle, reedbuck, and buffalo. We may also spot the distinctive grey crowned crane and, with some luck, the elusive bat-eared fox.
Our route through the crater is determined by our experienced safari guides, who follow recent wildlife movements to maximise viewing opportunities.
Covering approximately 264 sq km, Ngorongoro is one of the world's largest intact volcanic calderas and supports more than 30,000 animals within its diverse habitats.
After a memorable morning exploring the crater, we return for a late lunch before continuing to the Tarangire area.
This evening, we enjoy a final dinner together and reflect on the incredible wildlife experiences of the past few days.
Day 6 - Lake Manyara & Return to Arusha

Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha. After our final breakfast, we leave Tarangire National Park and begin our journey back to Arusha.
Along the way, we stop at Lake Manyara, where we can admire the flocks of pink flamingos that gather along the lakeshore and enjoy the scenery of this beautiful section of the Great Rift Valley.
Continuing to Arusha, we reflect on the incredible wildlife encounters and unforgettable experiences shared throughout our safari adventure.
We arrive back in Arusha where you will be dropped off at the airport for your onward flight. Safe travels!
