Day 1 - Washington DC
Upon arrival in Washington, we will arrange a transfer to your hotel, where you can enjoy some free time. In the afternoon, you'll receive important information about the start of your tour, which will be available either directly from us or via information boards in the hotel reception area. Later, we'll take you to Georgetown, the vibrant heart of the city known for its lively atmosphere filled with bars and restaurants. After exploring this bustling district, you'll return to your accommodation for the night. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Washington DC
After breakfast, we embark on a comprehensive tour of Washington, D.C. Our journey begins with a drive past the impressive Pentagon, located in Virginia, where we pause for photographs at the striking Iwo Jima Memorial. We then continue to the poignant Lincoln, Korea, and Vietnam Memorials. Our next stop is the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts before we capture a perfect photo opportunity at the iconic White House. The tour rounds off as we circle the Capitol, concluding in Washington's vibrant museum district.In the afternoon, join us for a scenic boat trip along the Potomac River, offering splendid views of some of the city's major landmarks. Following this, we return to the hotel. In the evening, you have the option to explore Washington by night on an exclusive tour, before settling back into your accommodation. Please note: Due to weather conditions, the Potomac River boat does not operate between October and March.
Day 3 - Washington DC - Lancaster - New York
After enjoying breakfast, we depart Washington for Lancaster, where we'll immerse ourselves in the world of Amish culture, observing their distinctive 18th-century way of life and traditional farms. There's a lunch stop scheduled as we travel. Our journey then continues to New York, where we aim to arrive in the afternoon.
Day 4 - New York
After enjoying breakfast, embark on a comprehensive panoramic tour of New York City. We will explore the diverse neighbourhoods of Manhattan, from the financial powerhouse of Wall Street to the cultural and architectural icons of Rockefeller Center and St Patrick’s Cathedral. Our journey continues through the serene landscapes of Central Park, around the bustling Columbus Circle, and past the impressive AOL/Time Warner Building. Immerse yourself in the unique atmospheres of Greenwich Village and Little Italy before we reach Battery Park, where you can admire the sweeping view of the Statue of Liberty. In the evening, we will transport you to the vibrant hub of Times Square, famed for its dazzling lights and Broadway’s world-renowned musicals. If your hotel is located in the Times Square vicinity, an additional transfer will not be provided.
Day 5 - New York - Boston
We set off for Boston, Massachusetts. Upon our midday arrival, we'll embark on a panoramic tour of this historical city, significant in the fight for American independence. We'll explore the charming streets of Beacon Hill, stroll through the prestigious grounds of Harvard University, and enjoy the serene surroundings of Boston Common's gardens. Our journey will also take us to see the grandeur of Trinity Church. We conclude our tour at Quincy Market, a bustling area by the docks that offers a vibrant mix of shops and eateries. Enjoy some free time here before we return to the hotel for our stay.
Day 6 - Boston
Following breakfast, our services conclude, marking the end of your journey with us in Boston.
