Itinerary
Day 1 - Edinburgh to Tobermory

Leaving Edinburgh, we travel west past Stirling towards Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
We pause in the conservation village of Luss and take in sweeping views of the Arrochar Alps from the Rest and Be Thankful. You have free time in pretty Inveraray to savour local dishes for lunch. After exploring the historic hilltop at Dunadd Fort, we continue to Oban to catch the ferry to the Isle of Mull and settle in for two nights in the colourful fishing town of Tobermory.
Meeting Point: 60 High Street (The Royal Mile), Edinburgh, EH11TB – check in at 07:45 for an 08:15 departure.
Day 2 - Tobermory

After breakfast in Tobermory, we board our wildlife boat to the Treshnish Isles and Staffa. We relax with panoramic sea views as seabirds wheel overhead and, in season, seals bask on the skerries – we may even spot dolphins, eagles or whales, with expert commentary from our wildlife guide.
Approaching Staffa, we hear tales of giants and geology and draw close to the striking Fingal’s Cave. On landing, we have ample time to explore the island and watch the charming puffins in their natural habitat.
Day 3 - Tobermory to Oban

Today we cross the mountainous Isle of Mull to the spiritual Isle of Iona, often called the sacred heart of Scotland. You have free time to enjoy lunch, visit Iona Abbey, and wander the island’s white sandy beaches.
Afterwards, we sail back to Oban, where you can sample fresh seafood and unwind with a drink on our final evening – we overnight in Oban.
Day 4 - Oban to Edinburgh

We depart Oban through the dramatic scenery of Glen Coe and the wild sweep of Rannoch Moor, passing landscapes linked to Rob Roy. To toast our adventure, we visit a whisky distillery and learn about single malt production before returning to Edinburgh in the evening.
Return times are approximate and subject to road and weather conditions – please allow at least three hours after the scheduled arrival for any onward travel, and note we cannot hold the bus or refund late arrivals.
