Day 1 - London
On arrival in London, we will transfer you to your hotel. You’ll then have some free time to settle in and explore at your own pace. In the afternoon, information about the tour’s start will be available on the notice boards at the hotel reception to help you prepare for the days ahead.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - London
Today we explore London on a panoramic tour led by a local guide, revealing the city’s rich culture and history. You’ll see iconic landmarks including the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace, where you may catch the Changing of the Guard, depending on the schedule. In the evening, we will gather at Piccadilly to enjoy a leisurely walk through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho—areas famed for their vibrant atmosphere, theatres, and entertainment. You’ll have plenty of options for dinner before we return to the hotel.
Day 3 - London - Colchester - Colchester - Volendam Ferry
We begin the day with a visit to the British Museum, one of the world’s oldest museums, where we explore artefacts reflecting cultures from across the globe. Around midday, you have some free time before we head to Camden, a lively district famous for its eclectic street market. Here, you can browse unique items and enjoy lunch at one of the many small eateries or food stalls. At approximately 4:00 p.m., we travel to Colchester, England’s oldest recorded town, for a relaxed walk through its historic streets. We then continue to Harwich to board the ferry for an overnight journey to the Netherlands, staying in en suite cabins. Please note that, due to limited cabin availability, the itinerary may be adjusted—possibly including daytime ferry travel to Amsterdam with an overnight stay in Antwerp, or alternatively travel by train or flight to Amsterdam.
Day 4 - Colchester - Volendam Ferry - Volendam - Amsterdam
We arrive in the Netherlands at Hoek van Holland around 8.00 am and head to Volendam, a charming fishing village known for its traditional atmosphere and scenic waterfront. Afterwards, we travel to Amsterdam for a guided tour that covers several highlights: the iconic windmill and Rembrandt statue, the modern elegance of the South District, and the historic craft of diamond cutting at Museum Square. We then conclude the tour on foot in the city centre, where you will have free time to explore further at your leisure.
Day 5 - Amsterdam
After breakfast, the tour concludes, leaving you with lasting memories of your time in Amsterdam and beyond.
