Prices & Departure Dates
Prices shown are per person travelling. 'Twin/Double' prices per person apply when there are 2 people travelling, sharing a room. The 'Single supplement' applies for single travellers who require their own room and needs to be added to the 'Twin/Double' price.
If you are happy to be paired up with another single traveller of the same sex on your tour, this can be arranged, (if another solo traveller of the same sex is already booked upon the tour), thus avoiding the single person supplement.
All our scheduled tour departures are guaranteed subject to a minimum of 2 travellers.

Jewel of the Nile - 10 days Go Guide : :Check out the go guide for details of the tour, info on visas, climate, money, what to bring and more!
Bolt-ons
Make the most of your time away! Listed below are the optional activities that are available on this trip. Please note that you will need to book these prior to travel as we cannot always guarantee availability of these activities once you are on holiday.
| Abu Simbel by flight. The massive rock-cut temple of Abu Simbel never fails to impress. It's possibly the most awe-inspiring temple of all ancient Egypt, with its gargantuan intricately carved facade, created to revere the mighty pharaonic ruler King Ramses II. Guarding the entrance to the temple, the 4 colossal statues of Ramses II sit majestically staring out across the desert, seemingly since time began. This excursion is offered on all tours visiting Aswan.
|
| The World War II cemeteries of El Alamein. In 1942 the Allies under Britain’s field Marshal Montgomery halted the German- Italian advance towards the River Nile. Marked as a major victory for the Allies, though not without loss of life, with some 11,000 killed and 60,000 wounded. We visit the Commonwealth cemetery and recently erected memorials funded by the Australian and New Zealand governments. Through the arches and beyond the gardens, 7,000 white headstones commemorate the Australian, New Zealand and British soldiers who fought and died here. |
| An aerial adventure awaits in Luxor! Imagine drifting silently over temples, ancient sites, ruins and villages in the early morning sun. See ancient Thebes from a different angle as you float above the River Nile and wave down at the locals as you drift a few metres from their open rooftops! |
| If your don't fancy travelling by overnight sleeper train on the Jewel of the Nile, Jewel of the Nile Sun Festival or Ramses Sunrise tours, then upgrade to our flight option, and fly from Cairo to Luxor and Aswan to Cairo. Enjoying two extra nights of comfort in 5* hotel accommodation. |

Hi on the go!
WE are back! seems it went so quickly! Yasser El Sayed was an outstanding guide!! We already miss him this week now that we must plan and think on our own again back here at home! Also Abdul was an exceptional Cairo rep and gave us a real nice heartfelt farewell !
Everyone of the OTG reps were on time and kept all of our needs and safety at the foremost of their thoughts.
Thanks for a memory that will last a lifetime !
Thanks for A Job well done!!!

Dear On The Go Tours,
Thank you for providing the most fantastic tour in Egypt in late December 2011 / early January 2012.
It was the best holiday I have had in many years for me, and I wanted to congratulate you for having such highly professional staff in Cairo! The tour was made especially memorable and enjoyable by our tour guide Yasser El Sayed! His professionalism, in depth knowledge of the history and culture, and his friendly approach were of the highest professional standard. Whilst all the staff were fantastic, Yasser was just fabulous! He was knowledgeable and fun to have as the leader of the group! I have recommended your company to many of my friends now, and of course to my travel agent who said that she will refer more customers to you.
Once again, many thanks for organising such wonderful holiday for me and the rest of the group.
Kind regards

Just a quick note to say “Thank you” for recommending “On the Go Tours” for our Egypt holiday. It was fantastic. The “Jewel of the Nile Tour” was the right mixture of history, leisure and getting to know the country. Adding the Abu Simble bolt on, was perfect. The overall experience was absolutely top class. We had a great Tour Guide who was an Egyptologist, giving us all the historical information we needed.Again, thank you very much for your help in making our holiday a very memorable one.

Dear Sir/Madam
I just returned from a tour of Egypt with On the Go. My wife and I found the tour to be excellent. The tour guide Big Mo and all the staff of On the Go in Egypt were friendly and highly professional. They couldn’t have done enough for us to make the trip safe, informative and enjoyable. I will be using On the Go in the future because of this experience.
