Kick off in Mumbai and wind up in Goa on this 12 day adventure. Start with Elephanta Island’s rock cut caves and a taste of the city – from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus to Dhobi Ghat. Head to Nashik for sacred shrines and a relaxed vineyard tasting. Travel through UNESCO wonders at Ellora and Ajanta – plus Daulatabad Fort – then on to Bijapur’s Gol Gumbaz and the temple landscapes of Badami, Pattadakal and Aihole. Hampi’s grand ruins steal the show before a scenic run via Lakkundi and Gadag to the coast. In Goa, expect churches, colourful Panjim, sea views and time on the beach.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Mumbai
Mumbai – welcome to the City of Dreams. On arrival at Mumbai airport, our representative will greet you and arrange your transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure – you can take a relaxed walk to get a feel for the city, browse local markets and sample Mumbai’s diverse cuisine at nearby restaurants.
Day 2 - Exploring Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out for Elephanta Island to explore its ancient rock–cut cave temples and sculptures. Back in the city, we continue with a guided tour of Mumbai’s key sights, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the open–air Dhobi Ghat, the Prince of Wales Museum with its art and history collections, and Mani Bhavan, once Mahatma Gandhi’s base in Mumbai. We return to the hotel for the night.
Day 3 - Mumbai to Nashik
After breakfast, we drive from Mumbai to Nashik – about 170 km, roughly 3 hours – and check in to the hotel. A major Hindu pilgrimage centre and a renowned wine region, Nashik offers a compelling mix of sacred sites and vineyard country. We visit Tryambakeshwar Jyotirlinga, Ram Kund water tank, Shri Kalaram Sansthan Mandir, Sita Gufaa caves and the ISKCON temple. Later, we round off the day with a wine tasting at local vineyards, including Soma Vine Village, Sula Vineyards, York Winery and Grover Zampa.
Day 4 - Nashik to Ellora Caves & Aurangabad
After breakfast, we drive from Nashik to Aurangabad via Ellora – around 200 km and about 4 hours by road. En route we visit the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Ellora Caves to view intricately carved cave temples representing Hindu, Jain and Buddhist traditions. We then continue to the historic Daulatabad Fort before arriving in Aurangabad to check in and unwind for the evening.
Day 5 - Ajanta Caves & Exploring Aurangabad
After breakfast, we drive 100 kilometres from Aurangabad to the UNESCO–listed Ajanta Caves (2 hours each way) for a full day exploring remarkable sculptures and paintings that depict the life of the Buddha. We then return to Aurangabad to visit Bibi ka Maqbara and Panchakki before settling in for the night.
Day 6 - Aurangabad to Sholapur
After breakfast, we drive 310 km – around seven hours – from Aurangabad to Sholapur and check in at the hotel. We then visit Siddheshwar Temple, Siddheshwar Lake and the historic Bhuikot Fort. Overnight in Sholapur.
Day 7 - Bijapur & Badami
After breakfast, we drive 220 km – around 5 hours – from Sholapur to Badami, stopping in Bijapur to visit architectural highlights including Gol Gumbaz and Ibrahim Rauza. We then continue to Badami, check in at the hotel and settle in for the night.
Day 8 - Badami, Pattadakal, Aihole & Hampi
After breakfast at the hotel, we explore the heritage complexes of Badami, Pattadakal – a UNESCO World Heritage site – and Aihole. Later, we drive to Hampi, covering about 180 kilometres – approximately 4 hours – and check in at the hotel for the night.
Day 9 - Exploring Hampi
After breakfast, we spend the day exploring the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hampi – visiting Hazara Rama Temple, the King’s Balance, Mahanavami Dibba, Virupaksha Temple, the Vittala Temple and Lotus Mahal – and the ASI Museum. We return to the hotel in the evening to relax.
Day 10 - Lakkundi, Gadag & Goa
After breakfast, we depart Hampi for Goa, covering about 330 km – around 8 hours by road. We break the journey with short stops in Lakkundi and Gadag before continuing to the coast. On arrival in Goa, we check in to your selected hotel. You can unwind and rest for the remainder of the day.
Day 11 - Exploring Goa
After breakfast, we set out on a full day tour of Goa – taking in the Churches of Old Goa, Panjim city, Altinho and the Dona Paula viewpoint. Afterwards, you’ll have free time to unwind, and you can relax on Goa’s famous beaches at your own pace.
Day 12 - Goa
After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer you to the airport for your onward flight – your journey concludes here.
