Day 1 - New Delhi - Delhi
Arrive Delhi On arrival at Delhi International airport meet with our office executive assistance and transfer to hotel check in. Rest time free & easy to relax. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 - Delhi - New Delhi
Delhi Breakfast at hotel. Full day city tour of Delhi, visiting landmark of Old Delhi which include Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni chowk & Khari Baoli Spice Market. Cycle Rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk. Sightseeing of New Delhi which includes visit to Qutab Minar, Humayun Tomb, Lotus Temple & VVIP areas President House, Parliament & India Gate. One gets the greatest deals in the Chandni Chowk market because besides being one of the largest retail markets, it is a wholesale market as well. Traders from across the country flock here for sourcing various lifestyle related good Built in 1565, after nine years of Humayun’s death, the Humayun’s tomb site maintains several other graves, monuments and mosques. In the year 1993 the tomb was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One can see a perfect blending of Rajasthani and Islamic features in the architecture of the tomb. The Char Bagh Garden is one of the major attractions inside the complex. The garden is divided into four squares by paved walkways and beautifully designed water channels. India Gate is the pride of Delhi. An imposing structure, the gate was built in memory to the of the 90,000 Indian soldiers who laid down their lives during World War. Situated at the at the end of Rajpath, the India Gate is 42 meters high and is a popular as a relaxation area during the summer evenings and a popular picnic spot during winter. Initially called All India War Memorial, the gate was designed and built by Lutyens who is also credited with the designing of New Delhi, the capital of India. Located in one of the oldest and busiest corners of Old Delhi, the Jama Masjid is the largest and best-known mosque in India that was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the year 1656. It comprises three great gates, four towers and two 40 metres high minarets, constructed of strips of red sandstone and white marble. Lotus Temple is one of the prominent attractions in New Delhi. It is close to the Nehru Place, which is one of the busiest commercial hubs in the city. The temple is built in the shape of a lotus flower amidst the lush green landscape tuning up to a pleasant and tranquil ambience. It is a Baha i House of Worship and is open to people from all religions. The Bahá'í Faith is a world religion whose purpose is to unite all races and peoples in one universal Cause and one common Faith. Rashtrapati Bhavan of India is the house of President of India; the bhavan. The mansion was built during the days of British Empire. The mansion was occupied by the Indians after the freedom in 1947. Apart from President of India this Bhavan also have quarters of other officials of Indian ministry. An integral part of Lutyens' Delhi, the Rashtrapati Bhawan has more than 300 rooms and serves as the home of the reigning president of India. Located on the ruins of the Lal Kot, the Red Citadel in the city of Dhillika, the Qutub Minar is one of the major attractions in New Delhi and is the tallest minar in India. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, made of red sandstone and marble and is surrounded by several other ancient and medieval structures.The construction of the minar was commissioned by Qutub-ud-din Aibak in the year 1192 and later it was repaired by Firoz Shah Tughlaq and Sikandar Lodi. The eminent structures that the Red Fort holds are the Lahore Gate (the main gate), Delhi Gate (the public gate), Diwan-i-khas (the Hall of Private Audiences), Nahr-i-Behisht (which grounds the imperial private apartments), Moti Masjid, the Pearl Mosque, Hayat Bakhsh Bagh, pavilions, water channels and fountains. Day 3 - Delhi - Agra - Agra Division
Delhi - Agra (204kms/ 4hrs approx) Breakfast at hotel drive to Agra check in at hotel. Later city tour of Agra visit Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb. Taj Mahal: One of the Seven Wonder of the World was build by Shah Jahan in 1631 AD and was completed in 1651. This symbol of love was build in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Build by the famed Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. Construction of the massive red sandstone Agra Fort on the bank of the Yamuna River was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565, though additions were made up until the rule of his grandson, Shah Jahan region it has partially become Palace. Built between 1622 and 1628 by Empress Nur Jahan for her father, boasts of marble trellis work and inlaid with-precious stones, this mausoleum on the opposite bank of the Yamuna from the Taj, exhibits a strong Persian influence. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur - Deeg
Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur National Park (60kms/ 1hrs approx) Breakfast at hotel drive to Ranthambore enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri the 16th century ghost town.built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 yrs due to scarcity of water. Predominately, a red sandstone construction sprawling over a huge area, the architectural style is very much in tune with emperor’s dream & partakes of both Hindu & Muslim styles Continue drive to Bharatpur check in at hotel. Later visit Bharatpur Palace, Lohagarh Fort & Deeg Palace. Lohagarh Fort has withstood many attacks by the British, but was ultimately captured by Arthur Wellesley. The fort is surrounded by a moat which used to be filled with water to keep enemies out. Deeg is a beautiful garden town situated north of Bharatpur. It has many embellished palaces that add to the beauty of the place. Known for its forts, palaces, gardens and fountains, the highlight of Deeg is an impressive fort surrounded by moats and gateways. It was built by Raja Suraj Mal and stands over a slightly elevated point. Although the interiors are almost in ruins, the watch tower containing a gun still maintains watch over the city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 - Bharatpur - Jaipur
Bharatpur National Park - Ranthambore National Park (245kms/ 5hrs approx) Keoladeo is famous as one of Asia’s finest birding areas, with over 380 resident and migrant species, including the Common, Demoiselle and the rare Siberian Cranes. It is also an excellent place to watch mammals like Golden Jackal, Striped Hyenas, Fishing Cat, Jungle Cat, Nilgai, Sambar, Blackbuck and wild Boar. The park derives its name from the temple of Keoladeo (Shiva) and ‘ghana’ which locally means dense, implying the nature of the vegetation. During the cool winter months it is also possible to see large Indian Pythons sunning themselves. After park visit drive to Ranthambore check in at hotel. Dinner & overnight at resort. Overnight at resort.
Day 6 - Sawai Madhopur
Ranthambore National Park Breakfast at hotel. Morning and afternoon jungle safari in the tiger reserve. Lunch, dinner & overnight at resort. Overnight at resort.
Day 7 - Ranthambore National Park - Jaipur - Bharatpur
Ranthambore – Jaipur (145kms/ 3hrs approx) Breakfast at hotel. Morning safari in the national park followed by visit to Ranthambore Fort. After lunch check out from resort and drive to Jaipur check in at hotel. Evening explore the pink city and visit the colorful bazaars. As per your interest wrap up your day by watching Bollywood movie at the opulent Rajmandir Cinema. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 - Jaipur
Jaipur Breakfast at hotel. Visit the majestic Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort. Enjoy Jeep ride at Amber Fort. Later city tour which include visit to City Palace, Observatory, Palace of Winds, Albert Hall Museum and Birla Temple. It is one of the principal tourist attractions in the Jaipur area, located high on a hill. Amber Fort Was Built By Raja Man Singh I. Amber Fort is known for its artistic style, blending both Hindu and Rajput elements. With its large ramparts, series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks the Maota Lake, at its forefront. The Jaigarh Fort is a majestic stronghold built by Sawan Jai Singh.This almost-intact fort is surrounded by huge battlements and is connected to the Amer Fort (also called 'Amber' Fort), with subterranean passages. Originally built to protect the Amer Fort and the palace within the complex, the Jaigarh Fort is architecturally similar to the Amer Fort, and offers a panoramic view of the city of Jaipur. Located in the heart of the Pink City Jaipur, the City Palace was where the Maharaja reigned from. This palace also includes the famous 'Chandra Mahal' and 'Mubarak Mahal', and other buildings which form a part of the palace complex. The palace is located towards the northeast side of central Jaipur and has many courtyards and buildings. The renowned 'Palace Of The Winds', or Hawa Mahal, is one of the prominent tourist attractions in Jaipur city. Located in the heart of Jaipur, this beautiful five-storey palace was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh who belonged to Kachhwaha Rajput dynasty. The main architect of this palace built of red and pink sandstone. The Albert Hall Museum also known as Central Museum is located in the Ram Niwas Garden.Ram Niwas Garden is located outside the city wall which is located opposite to the New Gate in Jaipur. Albert Hall is the oldest museum in Jaipur. Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh II was responsible for the construction of this museum in the year 1868, when King Edward the Prince of Wales visited India. Maharaja Ram Singh wanted that this building should be a town hall, but his successor wants that this should be museum. The Birla Temple, originally known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple, and is situated below the Moti Dungri Fort in Jaipur. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, this temple is a proud architectural landmark of Jaipur. Built in pure white marble, the Birla Temple is unlike the traditional ancient Hindu temples. Day 9 - Jaipur - Delhi - New Delhi
Jaipur - Delhi (265kms/ 5hrs approx) Breakfast at hotel. Morning to visit the place of your interest or relax in your hotel. Later drive to Delhi and direct drop off to airport to board flight for onward destination.
