This 7–day Rajasthan escape starts in Udaipur and ends in Jaipur – a sweep of lakes and palaces. In Udaipur you’ll glide across Lake Pichola, explore the City Palace and Jagdish Temple, stroll Saheliyon Ki Bari and catch the folk show at Bagore ki Haveli. The journey continues via Ranakpur’s exquisite Jain temples and a Bishnoi village to Jodhpur, where Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and bazaars await. Day 1 - Welcome to Udaipur
On arrival at Udaipur airport, our representative will meet you and arrange your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, you have time to relax – then we take a boat ride on Lake Pichola, with views of the City Palace, Jag Mandir and the surrounding shoreline as the sun sets. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 - Discover Udaipur's Royal Heritage & Culture
Udaipur This morning we begin at the City Palace, exploring its ornate courtyards, galleries and wide views over Lake Pichola – a clear window into the legacy of the Mewar rulers. We then visit Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and known for its finely carved pillars and active place of worship. Next, we stroll through Saheliyon Ki Bari, a tranquil garden of fountains and marble pavilions created for the royal household.
In the afternoon, we explore Udaipur’s markets, including Hathi Pol and Bada Bazaar – you may wish to browse for Rajasthani textiles, handicrafts and jewellery. Later, we head up to the Monsoon Palace, a former royal summer retreat with panoramic views of the city and surrounding lakes. In the evening, we attend the Dharohar folk dance show at Bagore ki Haveli – an engaging introduction to Rajasthan’s music and dance traditions. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 - Travel Through Ranakpur to Jodhpur
After breakfast in Udaipur, we drive to Jodhpur – around 260 km, about 5 hours excluding stops – breaking the journey with visits en route. We explore the Ranakpur Jain temple complex, renowned for its intricate marble carving and remarkable architecture, then continue to Guda Bishnoi Village to learn about the Bishnoi community and their dedication to nature and wildlife.
Arriving in Jodhpur, the Blue City, we check in to the hotel and you can unwind after the journey. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 - Explore the Blue City (Jodhpur)
Jodhpur. We begin at Mehrangarh Fort, set high on a rocky hill, for panoramic views over the Blue City and a walk through its palaces, courtyards and museums that reflect the heritage of the Rathore rulers. We continue to Jaswant Thada – a serene white marble cenotaph built for Maharaja Jaswant Singh II – noted for its intricate latticework and quiet setting. Next, we explore Mandore Gardens – once the capital of Marwar – with its historic temples, cenotaphs and green lawns. As the day winds down, we move into the old city markets – you can browse textiles, handicrafts and spices, meet local artisans and pick up souvenirs. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 - Uncover Pushkar & Continue to Jaipur
We depart Jodhpur for Jaipur – 310 km, around 7 hours by road – with a stop in the sacred city of Pushkar. We visit the Brahma Temple, one of the few dedicated to Lord Brahma, then continue to Pushkar Lake to witness rituals on the ghats and take in the city’s spiritual ambience. On arrival in Jaipur, the Pink City, we check in to the hotel. You can unwind and, time permitting, head out to explore the vibrant streets and colourful bazaars at your own pace. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 - Explore the Pink City (Jaipur)
Jaipur After breakfast, we set out on a full-day city tour of Jaipur’s signature sights. We begin at Amber Fort – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – exploring its grand gateways, palaces and courtyards, with wide views over the Aravalli hills. Back in the city, we visit the City Palace to wander its courtyards, museums and gardens, then continue to the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar to see its remarkable astronomical instruments. We pause at Hawa Mahal to admire its intricate latticed façade. If you wish, you can browse Jaipur’s bustling bazaars – Johari, Tripolia and Bapu – for gemstones, colourful textiles, handicrafts and traditional jewellery. We round off the day at the serene white-marble Birla Temple. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 - Farewell Jaipur
After a memorable journey through Rajasthan, we end in Jaipur. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then check out and we’ll arrange your transfer to the airport in line with your flight schedule. Please keep your travel documents handy and allow sufficient time for security and boarding. Our services conclude on arrival at the airport.
