Panna Wildlife Safari
This add-on is a half-day tour of Panna National Park that is available 01 October to 15 June and can be booked in conjunction with our Jewel of the crown private itinerary or any other tailor made itinerary staying in Khajuraho.
Go where the wild things are! Situated in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh at a distance of around 40 km from Khajuraho, Panna National Park is home to some of the best wildlife species in India. Offering a combination of teak and dry mixed forest interspersed with grassland areas, the park is renowned for its diverse wildlife including tigers (32 in total) leopards, deer, antelope, langur monkey and sambar.
The park also supports a wide variety of birdlife, including a host of migratory birds. It is possible to see white necked stork, barheaded goose, honey buzzard, king vulture, blossom headed parakeet and paradise flycatcher to name but a few avian species.
