Recommended time to visit: April - September offers the warmest, sunniest weather in Latvia, particularly the summer months from June - August, although this is also when prices are higher and attractions busier.
Recommended time for a Riga city break: The Christmas markets in Riga run from the end of November until early January, making this a great time for a city break.
Less popular time to visit: The winter months from October - March are less popular, with the exception of December due to the Christmas markets. But Latvia often sees snow at this time, and prices for hotels are much lower.
