Day 1 - Copenhagen Arrival & Danish Capital Walking Tour

Today marks the exciting beginning of our 13-day Scandinavian adventure. Upon arrival in Copenhagen, Denmark's vibrant capital, we will proceed to the hotel to meet our tour leader and fellow travellers.
Accompanied by an expert local guide, we will explore Copenhagen's most iconic sights on a walking tour, gaining insights into the city's rich history and culture. In the evening, we will gather for a delightful dinner included as part of the tour, providing a perfect opportunity to get to know your travel companions.
Day 2 - Free Day: Canal Cruise, National Museum & Tivoli Gardens

Enjoy a day of leisure in captivating Copenhagen. Opt for an optional excursion to delve into the city's rich history with a canal cruise and a visit to Reffen Market, or explore at your own pace. A stop at Tivoli Gardens, the historic amusement park, is highly recommended.
Don't miss the iconic Rundetaarn observatory; its unique spiral ramp once accommodated horses and carriages and offers panoramic city views. Make time to visit Freetown Christiania in the east of the city. Established in 1971, this independent commune continues to draw creative minds from around the world.
Day 3 - Odense, Aarhus Orientation & Overnight Ferry to Bergen

As we journey towards the seaside town of Hirtshals, enjoy the scenic landscapes of Denmark. This morning, we bid farewell to Copenhagen and set off for our first stop, Odense, the birthplace of renowned fairytale author Hans Christian Andersen and Denmark's third-largest city. After a guided orientation tour, you can explore the city at your leisure.
Next, we head to Aarhus, Denmark's vibrant second-largest city, known for its open-air museum, contemporary art, and Viking heritage. Here, we embark on another orientation tour to see the city's highlights before continuing to Hirtshals.
In the evening, we board an overnight ferry bound for Bergen, Norway, arriving there tomorrow morning.
Day 4 - Bergen Arrival, Bryggen Quay & Historic Fishing Villages

Our next destination is Norway! Upon arrival in Bergen, join us for an orientation drive to get your bearings in this charming city. Known as "the city among the seven mountains", Bergen is Norway's second largest city and serves as the gateway to the awe-inspiring Norwegian fjords.
We will visit Bryggen Quay, a highlight of Bergen and a UNESCO World Heritage site, showcasing the city's rich maritime history. Spend your afternoon at leisure to explore more, or opt for an excursion to explore historical Norwegian fishing villages, capped off with a traditional dinner.

Day 6 - Nærøyfjord Cruise, Borgund Stave Church & Oslo Arrival

Embark on a journey through the breathtaking heart of Norway. We depart from Bergen and head towards Gudvangen, located at the end of one of the nation's most celebrated fjords. Here, you have the option to visit a Viking village and take a scenic cruise to Flåm, traversing the stunning Nærøyfjord and Aurlandsfjorden. In Flåm, you'll rejoin the group amidst dramatic cliffs and serene waterfalls framing pristine blue waters. These tours are famed for their awe-inspiring landscapes.

Afterwards, you have free time to explore the city at your own pace or opt for the Oslo+ excursion, which features some of the city's top museums and lush green spaces. Whether you're wandering solo or joining the group, Oslo's uniquely cool Scandinavian vibe is sure to charm you.

Day 8 - Karlstad, Örebro Castle & Stockholm Arrival

Today marks the start of our Swedish adventure! We begin in Karlstad, nestled on the picturesque shores of Lake Vänern. Known for its outdoor activities, Karlstad offers a chance to delve into Swedish culture and savour local cuisine.
Next, we head to Örebro for a city orientation tour, where we’ll explore one of Sweden’s most charming city centres. From there, we continue our journey to Stockholm, the vibrant capital of Sweden. Upon arrival, we will check into our accommodation for the next two nights.
This evening, enjoy an included dinner featuring Sweden's renowned meatballs.
Day 9 - Stockholm City Tour: Royal Palace, Gamla Stan & Vasa Warship Museum

This afternoon, we head to the port to board an overnight ferry to Helsinki. Onboard, enjoy an array of entertainment and, if you wish, indulge in the optional Baltic buffet dinner, featuring local Swedish dishes and unlimited drinks.
Day 11 - Helsinki Arrival: Senate Square, Helsinki Cathedral & Kauppatori Market

Welcome to Finland! Helsinki, the vibrant coastal capital, will be your first stop. The city is known for its picturesque islands and expansive parks. Upon arrival, we’ll embark on a driving tour to get a sweeping view of the city's highlights.
Later, join a local guide for a walking tour, where you can explore some of the city's top landmarks. We’ll visit Havis Amanda, Senate Square, Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, and Kauppatori Market. Each site offers a glimpse into Helsinki’s unique blend of historic and modern influences.
