I was only with Tran for 3 days before crossing the border to the Cambodian leg of the tour.
There was a sense of sadness that Tran wasn't going to be our guide for any longer as it was obvious the existing group that started in Hanoi had really bonded with him.
The way he executed his knowledge with a mix of humour and wit made him enjoyable to listen to.Helpful as well with any questions. Thanks again. Had a great time. Greg Winter ”
The tour was brilliant as were the tour guides. Very clued up on their knowledge and were such lovely guides.”
This was my first group tour - and I have to say it could not have been better. Both my son and I had an excellent holiday and it lived up to all our expectations. Every little detail was thought through. All three guides were excellent. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Our flight to Siem Reap was cancelled - and we missed half a day, but Vannak was excellent in making sure we did not miss seeing anything as per our itinerary.
All in all a fantastic holiday and I can't wait to travel with On The Go again in the future.

Recommended places to visit in Cambodia
Anyone planning a visit to Cambodia will have the incredible ancient temples high on their list but what about Cambodia's other top sights? To help you see more of Cambodia we've put together a list of some of our favourites from royal cities to coastal resorts.
The sleepy little town of Kampot is a haven of peace and tranquillity. It sits along both sides of the Kampot River, the sides of which are lined with quaint cafes and guesthouses. Main features of the town include the Central Market and a number of Buddhist shrines, nestled within caves. The city itself is far from pristine but there is a certain charm that exudes from the crumbling colonial architecture that complements the easy way of life here.
Stick licking its wounds from the scars of 1979, Phnom Penh is a vibrant and bustling city. Sitting amongst 3 rivers; the mighty Mekong, the Bassac and of course the vast Tonle Sap – it is a great stop gap between Saigon and Siem Reap. Visitors can take a relaxing walk along the riverfront, sip a Gn’T in the famous Foreign Correspondents Club or be humbled at the Tuel Sleng Genocide Museum.
Home to the world famous Angkor Wat temples, Siem Reap is the country’s most popular tourist destination. Visitors are recommended to visit the temples early in the morning in order to witness the sun rise over the lily pond, which sits in front of the main temple. The spectacle is second to none and makea for some stunning Kodak moments. After a day of history, Pub Street is the perfect place to unwind with its selections of bars and restaurants.
Cambodia’s second biggest city, Battambang is well positioned between Bangkok and Phnom Penh. Teeming with beautiful French colonial architecture the city has more of a large town feel to it than a big smoggy city. As well as the beautiful array of temples, or ‘wats’ the other ‘must do’ activity in this small city is to ride the Bamboo train, or ‘noggy’.
Not the first beach people think of when planning a Southeast Asia beach break, but Sihanoukville is fast becoming a hip and happening beach resort. Serendipity Beach is very much the young backpacker party zone whereas Otres Beach is the perfect spot for a more relaxed stay offering some excellent boutique accommodation and a quieter and cleaner beachside area.
