Itinerary
Day 1 - First Amazon Encounters

Upon arrival at Padre Aldamiz International Airport, you are met and transferred to your lodge for a short briefing on the days ahead.
We then travel by boat for around an hour along the Madre de Dios River to reach the lodge, where a regional fruit juice welcomes us before we settle into our rooms.
After lunch, we cross the river to visit Monkey Island, where we may see species such as brown capuchins and squirrel monkeys in their natural habitat.
As evening falls, we set out on a night excursion to look for caimans along the riverbanks, and with luck we may also spot capybaras. We return to the lodge for dinner and a restful night.
Day 2 - Lake Sandoval & Night Walk

Today, we begin with an early breakfast before taking a short boat ride to the entrance of Lake Sandoval.
After registering at the control point, we walk three kilometres through the forest to reach the lake, known for its piranhas and rich biodiversity.
We then board a rowing boat to explore the calm waters, watching for hoatzins, cormorants and monkeys, with the possibility of spotting giant river otters or the lake’s larger alligator species
We return to the lodge for lunch. In the evening, we head out on a guided night walk to experience the rainforest after dark and to look for insects, amphibians and other nocturnal wildlife. We will then enoy dinner back at the lodge.
Day 3 - Canopy Walk and River Adventures

This morning, we begin with a canopy walk rising to around 30 metres, offering sweeping views of the rainforest and chances to spot toucans, macaws and other birdlife.
After breakfast, we prepare for zip-lining through the treetops, guided by an experienced instructor and supported by double cables for added safety.
Following lunch, we kayak on the Madre de Dios River, taking in the scenery and, with good weather, a striking Amazonian sunset.
Later, we try artisanal fishing, where we may see local species such as catfish. We then return to the lodge to relax for the evening.
Day 4 - Departure from Puerto Maldonado
After our final breakfast surrounded by rainforest, we then prepare for our departure.
We arrange your transfer to the airport or bus station, bringing your Amazon experience to a close.
