Days 1 & 2 - Pyramids & Egyptian museum Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival into Cairo, we will meet and transfer you to your hotel.
Day 2, we tour the Pyramids at Giza, the planet’s oldest tourist attraction. The largest, is Khufu (Cheops), constructed from 2.5 million quarried limestone blocks, weighing in at a mammoth 6 million tonnes. We continue on to the famous Egyptian Museum to view the immaculately preserved treasures of King Tutankhamen and his legendary funerary mask. Overnight (2) - Cairo.
Day 3 - Abu Simbel Cairo – Abu Simbel– breakfast. This morning we fly to Abu Simbel, possibly the most awe-inspiring temple of all ancient Egypt, built to revere the mighty King Ramses II. Here we board our 5 star cruiser. Enjoy a spectacular sound and light show at Abu Simbelbefore dinner by candle light on board. Lunch, dinner and overnight – Cruiser.

Day 4 - Lake Nasser cruising Abu Simbel– Lake Nasser – breakfast. A modern feat of engineering, the High Dam contains 18 times the amount of material used in the construction of Cheops, the largest pyramid at Giza. The by-product for this awesome construction is Lake Nasser – the world’s largest artificial lake. This afternoon we set sail on Lake Nasser, to view Kasr Ibrim. This tour is conducted from the ship’s sundeck as entrance to the site is not permitted. Relax and enjoy the facilities onboard the cruiser. Lunch, dinner and overnight - Cruiser.
Days 5 & 6 - Kalabsha temple Lake Nasser – breakfast. Now for those hidden gems! Discover the Temple of Amada (Lake Nasser’s oldest monument) and Derr, dedicated by Ramses II. We’ll stop at the Tomb of Penout (Viceroy of Nubia), Wadi El Seboua, the Temple of Dakka and the Temple of Meharakka. On day 6, sip cocktails as we cross the Tropic of Cancer, bound for the Nubian city of Aswan, visiting Kalabsha Temple, Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi en-route. Lunch, dinner and overnight (2) – Cruiser.
Day 7 - Aswan Lake Nasser – Aswan – Luxor – breakfast. Welcome to Aswan! After breakfast we disembark and enjoy a trip to the High Dam and Philae temple before driving to Luxor . En-route we stop at the Temple of Kom Ombo and Egypt’s best preserved temple at Edfu. Overnight – Luxor.
Days 8 & 9 - Ancient Luxor Luxor – breakfast. At over 4,000 years old, Luxor is ancient Egypt at its very best! Morning at leisure, afternoon visit to Luxor temple – built by Pharaoh Amenophis III. On day 9, we tour the Valley of the Kings & Queens, where we explore the myriad of tombs and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Continue on to the magnificent Karnak Temple, a spectacular complex of sanctuaries, pylons, chapels, halls and obelisks, all dedicated to the Theban gods. Overnight (2) – Luxor.
Day 10 - Cairo at leisure Luxor – Cairo – breakfast. We fly back to Cairo where you’ll have some free time for a spot of last minute souvenir shopping or perhaps you could consider a city tour of old Islamic Cairo. Overnight – Cairo.
Day 11 - Cairo Cairo – breakfast and onward departure transfer to the airport.
