Day 1: Cairo Tuesday - Cairo. Your Egyptian adventure starts here and now! Arrive Cairo, airport included transfer to hotel and overnight.
Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & Saqqara Cairo - Bahariyya - breakfast. Today, we visit Giza Plateau, where we explore the pyramids and Sphinx. Later, we explore Saqqara - an ancient necropolis with many half-buried tombs and the famous Zhoser’s step pyramid. Overnight - Cairo
Day 3: Bahariyya Cairo – Bahariyya Oasis - breakfast. A free morning or opt later for our city tour or just relax, before journeying to Bahariyya oasis. Dinner and overnight - Bahariyya (oasis hotel)

Need more info? Click here | | | Day 4: White Desert Bahariyya Oasis - White Desert - breakfast. We check out Bahariyya - an ancient oasis dating back to the Middle Kingdom. Continuing by 4 x 4, we visit some temples, tombs and the Black Desert - a region full of black volcano-shaped mountains. Our desert camp tonight is the White Desert. So named, as the sand eerily resembles snow, the striking White Desert is full of unusual wind-eroded limestone formations and our remote overnight base. Day 5: Dakhla Oasis & Al Qasr White Desert - Dakhla Oasis - breakfast. Continuing by 4 x 4, we drive to Farafra - the smallest oasis in the Western Desert and famed for it’s exotic fruit and olive oil. Here, we can enjoy a dip in one of the natural springs and we’ll visit Badr’s Museum. Continuing to Dakhla, a true highlight is the medieval city of Al Qasr. Only recently abandoned we wander through the eerie high walled city, mosque, school, olive press and court. Many of the houses here have acacia wood lintels above the doorways whose kufic (Islamic script) inscriptions name the builder or occupants of the dwelling. Additionally, the inscriptions trace the family heritage, the oldest dating back to 1518. We continue onto Deir al-Haggar - the Roman Temple dedicated to the Theban Triad. Day 6: El Bagawat Necropolis Dakhla Oasis - Kharga Oasis - Luxor - breakfast. Departing Dakhla, we journey to Kharga Oasis. In Kharga we visit the Temple of Hibis, the rambling 4th century necropolis of el-Bagawat built entirely of mudbrick and the temple ruins of Deir al-Kashef, before continuing to Luxor for the night. Day 7: Aswan & Philae Temple Luxor - Aswan - breakfast. Journeying south by train, we arrive at the Nile frontier town of Aswan. Check-in to our hotel, we later visit the mighty High Dam. Continuing, we enjoy a short boat trip to Agilika Island for Philae Temple - dedicated to the goddess Isis. Later, free time to perhaps do some shopping in the colourful souqs and markets or simply relax in this attractive town which straddles the River Nile. Overnight - Aswan
 Days 8 & 9: Felucca Sailing Aswan – Nile felucca cruise – breakfast. On day 8, perhaps opt for the early morning air excursion to famous Abu Simbel - the rock-cut temple of King Ramses II, the Great Builder. This afternoon, we board our Nile felucca for a 2-night voyage on the River Nile upstream. On day 9, relax, go for a swim or just chill out in the sun on deck. Let your troubles melt away, as the felucca plies its route. A stop will be made at the waterside Temple of Kom Ombo. Lunch, dinner and overnight (2) - felucca
Day 10: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temple Kom Ombo - Edfu - Luxor – breakfast. Disembarking in Kom Ombo, we enjoy a visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, before driving north to Luxor. Enjoy some rest and relaxation. Tonight, an optional visit is available to the Temple of Luxor by traditional horse and carriage and a restaurant dinner afterwards. Overnight - Luxor
Day 11: Valley of the Kings & Queens Luxor - Dahab - breakfast. Opt for an sunrise hot air balloon excursion over ancient Thebes. Early today, we visit Luxor’s famous West Bank, taking in the Colossi of Memnon, legendary Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing limestone-colonnaded Temple of Hatshepsut. Taking a break, we later visit the colossal Temple of Karnak. This afternoon, we travel by overnight bus to Dahab via Hurghada. Overnight - bus journey
Days 12 - 16: Dahab, relax by the red Sea! Dahab - breakfast. Arrival and hotel check-in. Scuba diving, snorkelling, sun-worshipping, chilling, shopping - take your pick. You’ve 4 whole days to do as you want. Optional excursions such as snorkelling at Dahab’s Blue Hole or an energetic climb to the summit of Mt Sinai and visit to St Katherine’s Monastery are available (book/pay locally). Day 16: Cairo & The Egyptian Museum Dahab - Cairo – breakfast box. Early this morning, we bid farewell to Dahab and travel back to Cairo, arriving early this afternoon. Checking into our hotel, we later enjoy a guided visit at the Egyptian Museum. Prize exhibit has to be the priceless treasures of King Tutankhamen. Enjoy the remains of the day shopping and exploring Cairo. Overnight - Cairo
Day 17: Cairo Thursday - Cairo. Our tour ends after breakfast and included onward transfer to the airport.
