Prices & Departure Dates
Prices shown are per person travelling. 'Twin/Double' prices per person apply when there are 2 people travelling, sharing a room. The 'Single supplement' applies for single travellers who require their own room and needs to be added to the 'Twin/Double' price. If you are happy to be paired up with another single traveller of the same sex on your tour, this can be arranged, thus avoiding the single person supplement.

Make the most of your time away! Listed below are the optional activities that are available on this trip. Please note that you will need to book these prior to travel as we cannot always guarantee availability of these activities once you are on holiday.
| An aerial adventure awaits in Luxor! Imagine drifting silently over temples, ancient sites, ruins and villages in the early morning sun. See ancient Thebes from a different angle as you float above the River Nile and wave down at the locals as you drift a few metres from their open rooftops! |
| Carry on your Egyptian affair before or after your tour with a day trip (with lunch) to amazing Alexandria on the Mediterranean Coast. Founded by Alexander the Great, Alexandria boasts wonderful beaches and an impressive seafront corniche, along which are dotted cafes and restaurants, as well as catacombs, souks and relics from a bygone age. |
| On our Jewel of the Nile, Family tours and many tailor-made itineraries we include the Sleeper Cabin Train as part of your journey. On all other tours (taking the Nefertiti Seater Train) we offer the option to upgrade to a sleeper cabin on the Sleeper train. The tour guide Amro (Zuzu) Muinir was excellent. He was not only cognizant in the Egyptology, he was also very knowledgeable on the current state of the country and the people. He showed himself to be an excellent leader, guide and teacher. In addition he was very pleasant to deal with. We felt in good hands as long as he was around. We would not hesitate to take another tour with On the Go if the leader was as well qualified as Amro Zuzu.
Thank you

Hi Sally
We had an absolute blast! the tour was fantastic!!!!!!!!
I just wanted to suggest that you should mention to people that if you choose the sleeper cabin option on the train you get dinner and breakfast included. the sleep cabin was unreal! the best experience we have ever had. It was extremely clean, and each carriage had its own butler.
The hotels everywhere we went were unbelievable. The hotel in Luxor was on the Nile, and almost everyone on our tour had views of the Nile. We all couldn't believe our luck.
Thanks again for booking our Egypt tour, we will definitely book another trip with on the go.
Elizabeth and Edmond Tahiri, Oct 2009
Hello Janet,
I would just like to thank you and your team at on the go for a great holiday - everything from the time I arrived off the plane was fantastic. I wanted a holiday where I could just relax and enjoy myself and not have to worry about small details and your company took care of that. Also your guide's were excellent and their knowledge of their country and what our needs were for western travellers was well received by myself and fellow travellers.
I was recommended your company by another traveller and I will have no hesitation in recommending your company and I would happily book another tour.
Thank you once again and keep up the good work,
kind regard's
