Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! Arrive Delhi, included transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Delhi

We will enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more. Tonight, we have a Namaste Dinner at a restaurant specialising in classic Indian cuisine.

Day 3: Delhi - Amritsar

Transfer to Delhi station for train to Amritsar 2029 - Swaran Shatabdi - 0720 / 1315 - Air conditioned chair Car Arrive and transfer to hotel

Half day sightseeing tour of the city including Golden temple Wagah Border with guide

Day at Leisure Transfer to train station to catch train to Ranthambore 12904 Golden Temple Mail -21:25/13:03 hours in 1st Class AC Sleeper

Day 6: Amritsar - Ranthambhore NP

Arrive and transfer to hotel We check-in, freshen up and then venture out for an evening game drive. Ranthambhore NP is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan.

Day 7: Ranthambhore NP

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park. The forests around the Ranthambhore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. This wildlife sanctuary is considered to be the country's best for observing and photographing the activities of the tiger.

Day 8: Ranthambhore NP - Jaipur

Drive to Jaipur. Enroute visit to Fatehpur Sikri Lunch at Chandra Mahal Haveli and visit a village school

Day 9: Jaipur

Today, you can choose to bolt on an early morning hot air balloon flight over Jaipur. Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we continue to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour. Later we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.


Day 10: Jaipur - Agra

Drive to Agra (About 4 - 5 hrs Drive) Visit Agra Fort & Sunset visit to Taj Mahal

Day 11: Agra - Varanasi

Day at Leisure Departure transfer to Railway Station for train to Varanasi 14864 Marudhar Express at 21:20/08:35 hours in 2nd Class AC Sleeper -Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel Evening visit Aarti Ceremony

Excursion to Sarnath There are many Buddhist monuments and edifices in Sarnath. Some of the important Buddhist monuments at Sarnath are the Dhamekha stupa, the Chaukhandi stupa and monasteries and temples of different schools of Buddhism from Japan, China, Thailand, Burma and others. The Indian Buddhist society called Mahabodhi Society maintains a park around the Buddha temple. The Mahabodhi Temple within the park has a tooth relic of the Buddha.
