Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.
Today we will drive you to the Airport for your flight to Nagpur. Flight number IC 869, departs at 0550 and arrives at 0845. Arrive Nagpur, transfer to Kanha national park.
Kanha is one of India’s largest parks, covering 1945 sq. km of forest and lightly wooded grassland. This is the land that Kipling wrote so vividly about in his literary classic ‘Jungle Book’. Kanha National Park has a tremendous variety of wildlife - including the Bengal tiger, leopard, sambar, chital, blackbuck, gaur, swamp deer and jackal. Enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive in the national park today.
After our morning game drive we depart destined for Bandhavgarh National Park, this is approximately a 7 hour drive. Upon arrival we check in at Kings Lodge.
Bandhavgarh is set amidst the Vindhyan ranges. Claiming to have the highest density population of Bengal tiger in India, coupled with a population of leopard, nilgai, jackal, wild boar, sloth bear, gaur, sambar deer and colourful bird life, game drives are often peppered with sightings. Enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive in the national park today.
Enjoy a morning game drive in the national park today. Later today we will transfer you to Katni railway station for the overnight sleeper train to Agra. Train Gondwana Express, departs at 1720 and arrives the next morning at 0414 hours.
Arrive Agra and you will be met and transferred to Chambal national park. Arrive Chambal national park and check into the Chambal Safari Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon boat ride on the Chambal river.
Located astride the Chambal River, this sanctuary, once the abode of gangs of dacoits comprises ravines and river spread over three states - Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. This sanctuary is famous for the rare Gangetic dolphin, Indian Mugger, gharial, turtles, and 225 species of birds. It is one of the best places to see the Indian Skimmer. Today enjoy a morning boat safari on Chambal River. This evening enjoy a bird safari around the Lodge.
Today we will transfer you to Bharatpur. Arrive Bharatpur and you will be met and transferred to Laxmi Vilas Palace. This afternoon enjoy a bird safari in the park.
One of the finest bird parks in the world, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park) is a reserve that offers protection to faunal species as well. Nesting indigenous water- birds as well as migratory water birds and waterside birds, this sanctuary is also inhabited by Sambar, Chital, Nilgai and Boar. Full day bird safari in the national park.
This morning we will transfer you to the railway station for the train to Sawaimadhopur. Train Golden temple, departs at 1045 and arrives at 1305. 2nd Air Conditioned. Arrive Sawaimadhopur and you will be met and transferred to Ranthambore national Park and the Pugmark Hotel.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur
Enjoy a morning game drive in the national park today. Transfer to the railway station for the train to Delhi. Train Golden Temple, departs at 1240 and arrives at 1835. 2nd Air conditioned. Arrive Delhi and you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
