Postcards from Morocco

Hey John -
Xmas/NY in Morocco was excellent, a great escape for winter sun and really great fun! The group were all about the same age so we had a good laugh and the berber camp and Sahara camel trek was awsome. The history, scenery, shopping, food, culture and surfing made it an unforgettable experience - would love to say we'd be back but we have a travel wish-list as long our arms.
Next stop, ANZAC day!

I very much enjoyed the berber camp - spending the night in the open air. The camp was well set up, clean and relaxing. Wathing sunrise from the top od the big dune next to the berber camp was definitely the highlight.
Aziz was a great guide with good sense of humour.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect from Morocco and was a little nervous on the flight but when we landed we were met at the airport by our Local guide, Brahim. He instantly put us all at ease with his easy manner and huge smile. We were to see this smile pretty much for the next 9 days as it never seemed to leave his face!

Taghazoute was fantastic! We stayed in an ocean front Villa which had magnificent views. Our surf instructor spoke great English and was ready to teach even the most un-coordinated of the group (me of course!). The beaches were beautiful and the surf was great fun, but the highlight of this part of the trip was eating a fantastic meal (included) on the roof top terrace of our villa and watching the sun set, not wanting to be anywhere else in the world.

I had a really good time thank you. Brahim was an excellent tour guide with loads of knowledge and made the trip standout.He taught us all a few words some of which I can’t repeat here. Marakesh was mental - the square is manic pretty much every night of the week - even with boxing matches going on.The food was really tasty - I definitely want to go to a Moroccan restaurant now.
Everyone in the group were helpful and really cool so I would recommend On the Go for sure.
