Day 1: Marrakech 23rd Dec. Welcome to Morocco! Transfer from Marrakech airport to your hotel included. Be sure to arrive in time for your pre-departure meeting at 6:00pm. Dinner and overnight - Marrakech
Day 2: Gorges du Dades Marrakech - Gorge du Dades - breakfast. Leaving Marrakech, we drive through the Gorges du Dades, an awesome valley which extends from the High Atlas to the Jebel Saghrou range in the south. Berbers built many kasbahs in the vicinity of gorges for defence purposes. Lunch, dinner and overnight - Gorge du Dades

Day 3: Todra Gorge Gorge du Dades - Todra Gorge - breakfast. Merry Christmas! This morning enjoy a guided walk at the Gorge du Dades before driving to Todra Gorge in the afternoon. Spend what remains of the day exploring Todra Gorge, from its plunging depths to its awesome heights. Witness it’s changing colours as the sun slowly moves from east to west. Day 4: Erg Chebbi Todra Gorge - Erg Chebbi - breakfast. Crossing the Jebel Sarhro, we head down to Erg Chebbi sand dunes where we trek into the desert to a berber camp, for a local Berber meal and a memorable night under the Saharan stars. Lunch, dinner and overnight - berber camp
Day 5: Route of 1000 kasbahs Erg Chebbi - Ouarzazate - breakfast. Leaving the desert, we travel along the route of 1000 Kasbahs, through the Draa Valley. We continue on to Ouarzazate, which is famous for its large film set where many great films have been made, such as The Living Daylights and The Last Temptation of Christ. Day 6: Aït Benhaddou Ouarzazate - Aït Benhaddou - Marrakech - breakfast. This morning there is the option to visit the film studios or try Quad biking (payable locally) before we head to Aït Benhaddou, a ‘fortified city’, located along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. It is situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River and boasts some beautiful examples of kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited. Granted UNESCO World Heritage listing, the site had been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. After exploring the kasbahs we drive on to Marrakech. Day 7: Djemâa-el-fna Marrakech - breakfast. Glowing red, like a welcoming campfire, against the snowcapped High Atlas Mountains, the very name Marrakech conjures up images of an exotic, distant city, of magic carpets and snake charmers and of frankincense and myrrh brought in by camel trains. The focal point is the central square, the Djemâa-el-Fna, an extraordinary gathering and market place. Full of colour, spicy aromas and traders it is best seen in the evening when overflowing with food stalls, dancers, acrobats, fortune tellers, musicians and henna artists. And towering over all this is the Koutoubia mosque, the tallest building in the city. Lunch, dinner and overnight - Marrakech
Days 8 - 9: Marrakech Marrakech - Breakfast. Free time to explore Marrakech, perhaps try a hamman and practice your bargaining skills in the souks. On New Years Eve enjoy dinner in a restaurant with the group. Dinner (1) and overnight - Marrakech
Day 10: Marrakech 1st Jan. Marrakech - breakfast. The trip ends today after breakfast.
