Day 1: Windhoek Upon arrival at the International Airport your on the go representative will meet you. You will be given your information packs with maps and brochures before you collect your rental vehicle and drive to Windhoek where your guesthouse is situated.
Day 2: Rehoboth & Rietoog After breakfast you drive via Rehoboth and Rietoog to your Lodge at the Sesriem area. Spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure.
Day 3: Sossusvlei Early breakfast and continue to Sossusvlei. This is a dune wonderland, towering up to 300 m high, surrounding a huge, dried up pan. The warm tints of the sand, ranging from pale apricot to brick orange and deep red, contrast vividly with the dazzling white surfaces of the large deflationary clay pans at some of their bases. Continue to your Lodge at the foot of the Ghaub Pass.
Day 4: Swakopmund After a leisurely breakfast drive via Walvis Bay to Swakopmund . Spend the afternoon exploring town on foot.
Day 5: Swakopmund After breakfast you can go on an optional marine cruise. You have the day to participate in a variety of optional activities in and around Swakopmund . Spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure.
Day 6: Twyfelfontein After a leisurely breakfast you drive via Henties Bay and Uis to your Lodge in the Twyfelfontein Area. In the afternoon you can visit the Twyfelfontein Bushmen engravings, as well as the Organ pipes and Burnt mountain to visit the Famous Twyfelfontein Rock Engravings and the Petrified Forest.
Day 7: Etosha Early morning departure for Etosha, the park consisting of 22270 sqkm of saline desert, savannah and woodlands, is one of the largest parks in Africa. A highlight of the park is the floodlit waterholes. All day game viewing at the various waterholes where there are predators such as the lion, cheetah, leopard and several other wild cat species. There are also various species of antelope and prolific bird life. Full day game drive in the Etosha National Park.
Day 8: Etosha All day game viewing at the various waterholes. Continue through the park to your lodge located 3km on the eastern side of the park.
Day 9: Tsumeb & Waterberg plateau Drive via Tsumeb and Otjiwarongo to your Guest Farm only 15km from the Waterberg Plateau Park. The remainder of your day will be at leisure with optional activities. Alternatively relax by the pool or watching the sun go down with a drink in your hand.
Day 10: Okahandja Drive via Okahandja to Windhoek. Okahandja, a town of great significance to the herero people because it once was the seat of Chief Samuel Maharero. Every year on August 26 - referred to as Herero’s day - thousands of Hereros gather here for a pilgrimage to pay homage at the graves of their great chiefs. The town is also an important centre for woodcarvers from the north. This is a good place to pick a hand-carved hippo, giraffe or rhino, as each piece is carved individually and the standard is generally high. Your journey continues back to Windhoek where you will overnight at your guest house.
Day 11: Windhoek After breakfast you can do last minute shopping before you go to the International Airport for your outbound flight.
