Day 1: Delhi
Saturday. Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! Arrive Delhi, included transfer to our hotel. If arriving prior to 15:30pm consider joining our Cook Up a Curry bolt-on. A great way to meet fellow group members over a home cooked meal. Overnight - Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi Sights - Old & New
Delhi - breakfast. This morning, our Welcome Meeting takes place. We’ll then enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and a carpet emporium. Tonight, we enjoy a group Namaste Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight - Delhi.

Day 3: Agra & the Taj Mahal
Delhi - Agra - breakfast. Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra. Here we enjoy a horsecart ride to the legendary Taj Mahal. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers. Continuing, we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings. We also visit a marble craftshop. Overnight - Agra.

Day 4: Rural India
Agra - Jaipur - breakfast. En route to Jaipur, we visit the awesome ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned allegedly due to a lack of water. We enjoy lunch at Chandra Mahal Haveli in Peharsar. In Jaipur, we visit a cotton trading/tailor shop where you can get clothing tailored for delivery to your hotel before we leave Jaipur! Lunch and overnight - Jaipur.

Day 5: The pink city of Jaipur
Jaipur - breakfast. This morning, we travel beyond Jaipur to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. Overnight - Jaipur.

Days 6-7: Ranthambhore NP
Jaipur - Ranthambhore - breakfast. After breakfast we have a 3-4 hour drive to Ranthambhore National Park. We check-in, freshen up and then venture out for an evening game drive. Ranthambhore NP is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. On day 7 we enjoy both morning and evening game drives with some time to relax during the day. All meals are included at Ranthambhore. Overnight - Ranthambhore (2).

Day 8: Delhi at leisure
Ranthambhore - Delhi - After an early breakfast we return to Delhi by train. The remainder of the day is free for your to explore Delhi further. Overnight - Delhi

Day 9: Delhi
Sunday. Delhi - breakfast. Our tour concludes after breakfast. Goodbye India! Onward departure transfer to the airport.
