Day 1: Nairobi
Upon your arrival into Nairobi, we will meet you at the airport and take you to our start hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own.
Day 2: Nairobi
We travel today across the border into Tanzania, arriving in Arusha, with time to explore - sample the locally grown coffee or shop in the bustling market. Arusha is at the foot of Mount Meru, Africa’s fifth largest mountain.

Day 3: Lake Manyara
After breakfast we make our way to Lake Manyara National Park. This park is famed for its tree-climbing lions, vast flocks of flamingos, an abundance of elephants, hippos and water birds. The afternoon is spent game viewing along the main road that winds for several kilometres through a cool, lush, mature groundwater forest dominated by large ficus trees and a tangle of green epiphytes.
Days 4 - 5: Serengeti
After breakfast we head for the magnificent Serengeti National Park. The park is to Tanzania as the Masai Mara Game Reserve is to Kenya. After our picnic lunch we spend the afternoon viewing game and absorbing the breathtaking scenery of the plains of the Serengeti. The following day after an early rise we enjoy an early morning game drive, returning for a hearty lunch followed by a brief but well deserved rest. The afternoon is spent exploring this worldfamous park while game viewing.

Days 6 - 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Today we make our way to the Ngorongoro Crater via the Olduvai Gorge. The Olduvai Gorge is the historical site of the Leaky Excavation, that is famed for the discovery of the 3.5 million year-old fossil fragments of an early human civilization. Measuring 100 sq. miles, with 600 metre walls, the legendary Ngorongoro Crater located in Northern Tanzania is the world’s largest intact caldera and a vast natural amphitheatre brimming with almost every species of wildlife to be found in Eastern Africa. Witness the hunter and the hunted. The views from the crater rim are incredible and despite the steep crater walls, there’s a continual movement of animals in and out. Naturally drawn to the permanent water and pasture source, herbivores such as antelope, zebra, gazelle and the ubiquitous wildebeest gather sometimes en masse, almost in appreciation of the lurking predators. On the morning of Day 7, embark on a half-day crater tour. Return to Arusha and spend the afternoon exploring the town or visiting the markets at Ngaramtoni.
Day 8: Arusha
Tour ends at approximately 8am.
