Loved every minute in Kyoto - could have done with an extra day there… Mt Fuji area was amazing especially with all the cherry blossoms. Probably had too much time allocated to the National museum in Tokyo, would have preferred the option for more time around the temple in Asakusa, or a visit to the Sky Tree or Tokyo Tower.

Signature Journeys8I loved Kamakura the peace of the bamboo forest and the cherry blossom. The cherry blossom everywhere was fabulous. Our guide was really knowledgeable and interesting and helpful, he had endless patience and good humour I would have liked a better end to the tour. It would have been nice to have one last meal together and it felt a bit odd for the tour to end in the middle of Kyoto rather than at the hotel.I would have liked a few less busy places or trying to get to places early in the day before they got busy.

Toshi, our guide, was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. A lot of time was spent on logistics. Despite being advertised as a tour with a certain fitness level required, we avoided walking or climbing stairs at certain sights.

Repeated use of public transport TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. See nothing from a subway or crowded bus. Hotel rooms ridiculously small...obviously cheapest rooms in very nice hotels. Exactly what I wanted to see. The local experience of an Onsen was really out of my comfort zone, but I did the experience and very happy that I did. Maho was a wonderful person and good tour guide but English was a real struggle to understand, made for you not really wanting to ask too many questions as most was lost in translation. It was very busy, which was to be expected, however, the trip to Hiroshima was a total waste of time
