Nazare also a good experience, no large waves that day but guide took the time to walk us down to the lighthouse to experience it. Coimbra was a really nice experience as well, such a lovely town. A lot of nice experiences. Eduardo an excellent guide but he had no idea we were travelling on to Lisbon from Madrid but made enquiries for us about going forward.

He was good company, very helpful and always felt safe in the car with him. The private tour guides were all very knowledgeable about their cities. The second week on the bus was also very good. Some of the hotels were a bit far from the centre of town.
