1. When and how should I book my tour? Perhaps the best time to visit India is during the months of September through May when the temperatures are cooler and therefore ideal for sightseeing. During the cool season, major tourist attractions are abuzz with activity and it is also the best time to spot wildlife including tigers. The hot season runs from April through July when conditions are perfect for sightseeing and photography, though Rajasthan can be very hot and dry. July signals the start of the wet or Monsoon season that continues until around September. Although the weather is humid, the days are punctuated by intermittent rainfall. |
