Visas Requirements for South America

Please note that visa requirements are subject to change and we recommend that you contact your embassy for the most up to date information. Visa procurement is solely the responsibility of the traveller and not On The Go Tours.

Argentina

UK, RSA and NZ  passport holders do not require a visa for entry into Argentina. AUS, USA and CAN passport holders do not require a visa, though you will need to pay a reciprocal entrance cost. Contact the embassy for further details.

Bolivia

UK passport holders do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. USA, CAN, AUS and NZ passport holders do not need a visa for stays of up to 30 days. RSA (South African) passport holders do require a visa.

Brazil

UK, RSA and NZ  passport holders do not require a visa for entry into Brazil. AUS, USA and CAN passport holders do require a visa which must be obtained prior to departure. Contact the embassy for further details.

Chile

UK, USA, CAN, RSA, AUS, NZ  passport holders do not require a visa for entry to Chile. USA and AUS are required to pay a reciprocal fee. Please contact your embassy for current costs.

Ecuador

UK, USA, CAN, RSA, AUS, NZ  passport holders do not require a visa for entry into Ecuador.

Paraguay

UK and RSA passport holders do not require a visa for entry to Paraguay. USA, CAN, AUS and NZ passport holders do require a visa. Please check with your embassy for further information.

Peru

UK, USA, CAN, RSA, AUS, NZ  passport holders do not require a visa for entry into Peru for stays of up to 90 days. 

Uruguay

UK, USA, CAN, RSA, AUS, NZ  passport holders do not require a visa for entry to Uruguay

NOTE: Whether entering by land or air, passports will be stamped and arrival cards completed on entry into each country. If you are issued with a Tourist Card please treat with care as it will need to be handed in on departure. Please ensure your passport has at least 6 months validity after your planned date of return from the South American Continent.
