Day 1: La Paz Welcome to Bolivia and the start of your holiday. Arrive at any time on day 1 and transfer to your hotel. Overnight - La Paz.
Days 2 - 3: Sucre This morning we fly to colonial Sucre and the cultural centre of Bolivia. You are free to wander the streets or take one of the optional excursions - an old tin baron’s mansion, mountain biking or hiking. Overnight - Sucre.
Day 4: Potosi The world’s highest city, UNESCO-listed Potosi is also the site for one of the worlds longest continually operated silver mines. Overlooking the city, its legacy is a constant reminder. Overnight Potosi. |

Days 5 - 8: Uyuni/Salt Lakes
Travelling to Uyuni we begin our 3 night, 4x4 tour of the world’s largest salt flats - The Salar de Uyuni. At 12 000sq km, and a height of 3653m, this sparse landscape hides many beautiful sights and an array of wildlife. Dinner and overnight - (3). Breakfast and Lunch (2) - Salar de Uyuni.
Day 9: Uyuni/La Paz
Breakfast. Return to Uyuni for the night bus and then train back to La Paz. We arrive by 12pm on day 10.
Days 10 - 11: La Paz
Remainder of your time is free for one last look at La Paz. Perhaps there will be time to visit Tiahuanaco - Bolivia’s most significant archaeological site. Overnight (2) - La Paz.
Day 12: Puno
Hugging the spectacular shores of Lake Titicaca we travel from La Paz to Puno and we reach our destination later today. Overnight - Puno.
Days 13 - 14: Lake Titicaca
First, Taquile Island to witness a unique and fascinating culture before lunch and then Amantani Island where we experience a rural way of life in homestay accommodation. On day 14 we return to Puno via the Uros ‘floating Islands’. Overnight Amantani Island - (1), Puno - (1). Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Days 15 - 18: Cuzco
Day 15 is spent travelling through the stark beauty of the Altiplano to Cuzco. Acclimatise & explore the heart of Cuzco and the museums, markets and ruins of this beautiful colonial town. Overnight - Cuzco.
Day 19: Ollantaytambo
We take the time to view not only Pisac but also the village of Ollantaytambo – dominated by a towering Inca Fortress and our base for tonight. Overnight - Ollantaytambo.
Days 20 - 22: Inca Trail
After an early start, we arrive at km82 to begin our trek. We will stop frequently to investigate the many ruins and take in the spectacular views which line the route. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight (3) – Inca Trail.

Day 23: Machu Picchu
Climbing the final steps prior to dawn, we reach the ruins at sunrise. After a tour of the site, the remainder of the day is free, before returning to Cuzco by train. Overnight – Cuzco.
Day 24: Arequipa
Today we fly from Cuzco to Arequipa - Have a coffee overlooking Arequipa’s colonial Plaza Des Armas or, join the optional excursion to the faithfully restored Monasterio de Santa Catalina. Overnight - Arequipa.
Days 25 - 27: Colca Canyon
Journey into the world’s 2nd deepest canyon and spend time spotting Condors, hiking or soaking up the hot springs from our base of the small town of Chivay. We return to Arequipa on day 28 before catching the night bus to Nazca. Overnight - (2) Chivay, (1) night bus to Nazca.
Day 28: Nazca
Take the chance for a flight over the Nazca Lines (weather permitting) and tour of the fascinating Chauchilla Cemetery. Overnight - Nazca.
Day 29: Pisco
Enroute to Pisco, we have the option to sandboard at Huacachina & visit Ica’s famous beaches. Overnight - Pisco.
Day 30: Lima
Rise early for our optional excursion to the Islas Ballestas to witness birdlife, penguins and sea lions. Later today we travel 230km north to Lima, where we arrive later this afternoon. Overnight - Lima.
Day 31: Lima/Quito
Fly on your pre-purchased unescorted flight to Lima, where we pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight – Lima.

Day 32: Quito
Wake early, and transfer to our flight to the islands and the beginning of our Galapagos Cruise. Lunch, dinner & overnight – Galapagos motor yacht
Days 33 - 34: Galapagos Islands
Spend the following days visiting any number of the Galapagos – route will be dependent on weather conditions and seasonal points of interest. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight (2) - Galapagos motor boat.
Day 35: Galapagos Islands
Breakfast – after breakfast, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Quito. Overnight - Quito.
Day 36: Quito
Depart at any time today.
