Most westerners do not require a visa for Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina or Chile. Whether entering by land or air, passports will be stamped and arrival cards completed on entry into each country. If you are issued with a Tourist Card please treat with care as it will need to be handed in on departure. Please ensure your passport has at least 6 months validity after your planned date of return from the South American Continent.

South Africans require a passport valid for six months and a visa to enter Bolivia.
