frequently asked questionsI'm travelling alone. Can I share a room with someone else? If you’re travelling alone and would like to share a room with a fellow traveller of the same sex, on the go can arrange this on most of our group tours. If this cannot be arranged, you will be required to pay the single supplement as detailed in the price structure for the appropriate tour.

How many people are on my trip?
Typical group size is between 15 to 20.
Do I need any visas for my tour?
Nationals of the United Kingdon, the EEC, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and USA currently do not require a visa in advance of entry to Sri Lanka if stay is less than 30 days. Holders of RSA passports must obtain a visa for Sri Lanka prior to departure.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be advised that visa requirements are subject to change and that visa procurement is also the responsibility of the traveller and not that of on the go. Please also ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your planned date of return from Sri Lanka.
What vaccinations do I need to go on one of your trips?
It is recommended that you be vaccinated for Tetanus and Polio, if you haven’t had a booster in the last ten years. Food and waterborne diseases are more common, so we recommend vaccinations for Typhoid (valid 3 years) and Hepatitis A (validity varies). You are also advised to take anti-Malarial medication. Finally, have an aspirin prior to your flight. This may help ward off DVT.
