Day 1: Istanbul
Welcome to Turkey! Arrive Istanbul and transfer to hotel in Sultanahmet. Rest of day free. Overnight – Istanbul

Day 2: Istanbul
Breakfast. Enjoy a tour of old Istanbul. Rest of day free. Tonight, we enjoy a group Welcome Dinner at our hotel. Dinner and overnight – Istanbul

Day 3: Gallipoli
Istanbul - Gallipoli - breakfast. At the WW1 battlefields of Gallipoli, we enjoy lunch and a guided tour of the memorials. Lunch, dinner and overnight – Gallipoli region

Day 4: Troy & Kusadasi
Gallipoli - Kusadasi - breakfast. Heading south, we visit Troy before exploring the Roman ruins of Pergamum. We continue to the coastal resort of Kusadasi with a stop at a leather manufacturer. Dinner and overnight – Kusadasi

Day 5: Kusadasi
Breakfast. Today, we explore the Roman ruins of legendary Ephesus, an exemplification of the finesse of urban Roman life. We also visit a carpet manufacturing house. Dinner and overnight – Kusadasi

Day 6: Pamukkale
Kusadasi - Pamukkale - breakfast. Driving east, we arrive at Pamukkale - home of the amazing calcium terraces and Roman Hierapolis where you can where you can opt for a dip in the thermal waters. Dinner and overnight – Pamukkale

Days 7 - 8: Cappadocia
Pamukkale - Cappadocia - breakfast. On our drive to Cappadocia, we visit some ancient caravanserais such as Sultanhani caravanserai. Tonight, an optional Turkish folklore evening is available. Whole troglodyte villages, subterranean churches and fortresses hewn from the soft, eroded volcanic rock make Cappadocia one of Turkey’s finest attractions. Enjoy a guided tour of the region on day 8 and dinner. Overnight (2) – Cappadocia region

Day 9: Ankara
Cappadocia - Istanbul - breakfast. Via Ankara - the nation’s capital, we visit the Ancient Civilisation’s Museum, before continuing to Istanbul. Overnight – Istanbul

Day 10: Istanbul
Breakfast. After breakfast tour ends.

Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays, whilst the Hagia Sofia is closed on Mondays. Please consider this when booking. Grand Bazaar and Egyptian Spice Market are both closed on Sundays.
