Wish we had more time there for photos etc, felt like we were rushed through the day. Same with the GEM. We only had 2 hours there and we should have had an optional full day because we were rushed back for the overnight train. The overnight sleeper train was abysmal. It was broken and filthy, the power in my cabin didn’t work and repair men had to come in to fix it. It should have been a nicer train or flights, especially for the amount we paid. Nobody on our tour slept properly and it made the following day difficult.

Private Tours6My favorite part of tour was in Luxor. First the hotel much better than in Cairo, Luxor has less traffic, we saw more highly decorated tombs in the valley of the king, and much more in this city. However Cairo was spectacular with the Pyramids and especially the Grand museum is the most memorable. Traffic and pollution in cairo. I didnt understand why we paid $ 14 a tip to the person who gave us only a copy of package of our trip. The other tip was fine for us.
