Day 1: Quito
Welcome to Ecuador! Arrive Quito, included transfer to your hotel. Overnight - Quito.
Day 2: Quito
Breakfast. Travelling north to the flower capital of Ecuador, Cayambe is located at the base of a volcano by the same name. Perhaps travel to the base of its glacier and hike back. Tonight we stay at the oldest Hacienda in Ecuador. Overnight – Cayambe.
Day 3: Cayambe
Breakfast. Heading to Otavalo and the chance to bargain at the largest handicraft market in South America. Return to Quito for the evening. Overnight - Quito.
Day 4: Quito
Breakfast. A half-day city tour will orientate you and guide you through the maze of the UNESCO-listed colonial old town. Overnight - Quito.

Day 5: Quito
Breakfast – After a short flight to the Amazon and a 3 hour journey in dugout canoe down the Napo River, we reach La Selva Lodge. Operating for over 20 years and winning several tourism awards, the Lodge is highly respected and has quality guiding. Lunch, dinner and overnight - La Selva lodge.
Days 6 - 7: Amazon Lodge
Breakfast. To help maximize your time here, there are a number of activities available – hiking, birding, photography, fishing, swimming, amongst others. Lunch, dinner and overnight (2) - La Selva lodge.
Day 8: Amazon Lodge
Breakfast. Retracing our steps, we return to Quito. Evening is at leisure. Overnight - Quito.
Day 9: Quito
Breakfast - early flight to the Galapagos Islands and transfer to our boat. Lunch, dinner and overnight -onboard.
Days 10 - 11: Galapagos Islands
Breakfast. The following islands can be visited - subject to seasonality, points of interest and weather conditions. Lunch, dinner and overnight (2) - motor yacht.

Bartolome: Spot penguins, marine turtles and tropical fish while snorkelling off the sandy beaches of this lava landscaped island.
Seymour: magnificent frigatebirds and blue footed boobies are this island’s main attractions, although it is also well known for its sea lions as well as land and sea iguanas, Galapagos snakes and lava lizards.
Santa Cruz: the largest and most developed of the islands. Housing the Charles Darwin Research centre – take time to visit the interesting museum and baby turtle house.

Day 12: Galapagos Islands
Breakfast and transfer for the flight to Quito and our final night. Overnight - Quito.
Day 13: Quito
Breakfast. Depart at any time today.
