Abu Simbel
Abu Simbel, possibly the most awe-inspiring temple of all ancient Egypt, with its gigantic rock–cut façade, was created to revere the mighty ruler Ramses II. Guarding the entrance to the temple, the 4 colossal statues of Ramses II sit majestically staring out across the desert, seemingly since time began. This excursion is offered on all tours visiting Aswan.
Hot Air Ballooning
An aerial adventure awaits in Luxor! Imagine drifting silently over temples, ancient sites, ruins and villages in the early morning sun. See ancient Thebes from a different angle as you float above the River Nile and wave down at the locals as you drift a few metres from their open rooftops!
Jewel of the Nile - flight option
If your don't fancy travelling by overnight sleeper train on the Jewel of the Nile tour, then upgrade to our flight option, and fly from Cairo to Luxor and Aswan to Cairo. Enjoying two extra nights of comfort in 5* hotel accommodation.
Pharaohs Pass
The pharaoh's pass offers a combined money-saving upgrade to the sleeper train cabin when travelling between Cairo and Aswan and an upgrade from the included felucca, to that of a Nile 5 star cruiser. Our cruiser has its own bar, lounge, restaurants and swimming pool. Your onboard cabin is well-equipped with private bathroom and air-conditioning for your comfort. All meals are included on your 3 night stay. Seasonal supplements may apply.
Nile Cruise Upgrade
Upgrade from the included Nile felucca cruise from Aswan to Luxor and cruise in style aboard a luxury Nile cruiser. Our 5 star cruiser has a bar and restaurant, whilst your well–appointed, air-conditioned cabin offers a private bathroom. The boat deck offers plenty of space for relaxation and a swimming pool. Sightseeing stops are made en-route. All meals included, buffet style during your onboard stay.
Jordan - 5 days

Discover Jordan on this exciting 5 Day bolt-on. Just a stone’s throw across the Gulf of Aqaba, lies the coastal resort of Aqaba where you can swim, snorkel or opt to spend the day at the Dead Sea. Next the striking Rose City of Petra, with its amazing ruins and famous Treasury building and finally camp overnight in the stunning red desert of Wadi Rum.
Alexandria Affair - 1 day
Carry on your Egyptian affair before or after your tour with a day trip (with lunch) to amazing Alexandria on the Mediterranean Coast. Founded by Alexander the Great, Alexandria boasts wonderful beaches and an impressive seafront corniche, along which are dotted cafes and restaurants, as well as catacombs, souks and relics from a bygone age.

Chart Egypt’s Western Oases! Journeying to Bahariyya Oasis, we continue by 4 x 4's to the amazing expanse of the White Desert, where we’ll camp out under a blanket of stars and watch an amazing sunrise over the desert sands before returning to Cairo.
PADI Learn to Dive - 4 days
Spend longer in Dahab and learn to dive in the Red Sea with our PADI Openwater Learn to Dive Course - 4 day/3 night bolt–on (4/5 day course). Or for experienced divers we offer a Certified Dive and Advanced Dive Bolt-on. Named as one of the Seven Underwater Wonders of the World, the Red Sea boasts more than a 1000 species of fish, 400 types of coral, perfect visibility and warm waters. It is a diver's dream!
Sleeper Train Upgrade - 1 way
On our Jewel of the Nile, Family tours and many tailor-made itineraries we include the Sleeper Cabin Train as part of your journey. On all other tours (taking the Nefertiti Seater Train) we offer the option to upgrade to a sleeper cabin on the Sleeper train. Cabins are lockable, equipped with 2 bunk beds, linen, washbasin and towel, allowing passengers to relax and stretch out.
