Abu Simbel

Abu Simbel

Abu Simbel, possibly the most awe-inspiring temple of all ancient Egypt, with its gigantic rock–cut façade, was created to revere the mighty ruler Ramses II. Guarding the entrance to the temple, the 4 colossal statues of Ramses II sit majestically staring out across the desert, seemingly since time began.

We offer an amazing excursion to visit the Temples of Abu Simbel on the morning of day 4 - on our King Tutankhamen, King Ramses, Nile Valley to Siwa Oasis, Cairo to Damascus and Road to Jordan tours. Day 8 on our Sandblaster, Dunes and Tombs and Jewel of the Nile tours and day 5 on our Classic Family Adventure and Pharaoh's & beaches tour. A visit to The Temples of Abu Simbel can also be included on any tailor-made holiday.
