This was the best tour we have taken. The idea of giving us access to the Doge Palace and the Bacilica St Marco after hours made the trip to Venice very special. Our tour guide has a degree in architectural reconstruction and really knew what he was talking about.

This was a fantastic tour. Group size was 8. Francesca was brilliant and extremely knowledgeable about the church, the palace, and Venice in general. Would highly recommend.

This experience was one of the most educational and inspirational things we've ever done! Our guide was fabulous, with a degree in art history as well as journalism; his love of the buildings we were exploring was both contagious and mesmerizing. A native of Venice, he taught us to experience the city with our senses: to see, smell, listen and be aware of what was around us, while at the same time teaching us about the history of Venice, the role of the Doge, and the true glory of the Basilica. To see these places without the usual crowds was a treat, but the commentary by our guide was even better. Highly, highly recommended!

Wonderful informative tour by Romy, who was so detailed in her information. Amazing perspective when visiting the basilica at night. The lighting was breathtaking.

The guide here did an amazing job. She was very informative. We did the evening tour. It is a long one especially if you have already been doing stuff all day. It was flooding around the alleys because of all the rain and we were running late trying to get to the meeting point, she was accommodative.

This was a remarkable experience - the mosaics were clearly visible and it was very special to see them without the typical crowds. Alessandro was an outstanding, informative guide with a great sense of humor.

Our Guide was Alessandro and he was amazingly good at explaining everything and showing us this beautiful Basilica. I fully recommend this tour. The history of the Basilica as well as the square while walking towards it with Alessandro was simply PERFECT!!!!!!

Really neat to see the Basilica at night without all of the crowds. Our guide Alessandro was very passionate about Venice history as well. I wish we had more time inside due to the beauty that lies within but understand the time constraints due to the after-hours visit.

My wife, 18yr old daughter and I did this tour in June 2019. Excellent is all I can say. To be inside with limited people at night and a wonderful guide who explained all. Many things were pointed out that we would have walked right past. Seeing the crypts and being able to go in them with nobody was a highlight. I would absolutely recommend this tour. The line to normally get in is normally insane. Time is money, don't waste your day standing in the heat to just get in, the line we saw was about 2 hours to get in. A headset was provided so there was no problem hearing. We had about 12 ppl on our tour

One of the best organized tours I have been on and no crowds at this time. Marie-Therese our guide was very knowledgeable adding her personality to the commentary.

Matteo was absolutely fantastic on this amazing your. It is not to be missed! The Doge holds so much history and Matteo provided our group with many interesting details. The late entrance in St. Marks was breathtaking and surreal as the lights were turned up. Absolutely worth every penny!

I highly recommend the tour. We had a great guide (she was an art historian) who pointed out many historical and architectural facts and features. The Church itself is always inspiring but is particularly so without the crowds and with the evening darkness.

The evening visit to St. Mark’s was extraordinary! Our guide, Nicollette, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic while describing this incredible Basilica. A must do if ever in Venice in the evening!

Chose this night time tour because it fit into our schedule. I had seen St. Mark's before during the day time. This experience was so much better. Watching the lights come on slowly was one of my favorite experiences in Italy. Being able to sit down in St. Mark's and take in the beauty of the building with only 100 other people was priceless. Doge's Palace Tour was good for my family, but the star of this tour was St. Mark's. Our tour guide, Ieola, was fantastic and truly loved what she was doing. I wish she toured us around in other cities!

This was my favorite tour in Italy. I loved the after hour tour because you had the entire day to do other activities and you weren't among the crowds while visiting both these remarkable places. The tour felt very intimate because we weren't surrounded by so many people. Pamela, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We learned so much about both of these places. Going to the St. Mark's Basillica at that time of night was very magical. Only 45 people are allowed in that basilica after hours. I don't want to ruin the surprise, but they do something very special during this particular tour. Overall, it was an incredible experience. I highly recommend it.

Great tour. Limited people inside so no crowds. The ability to sit in the Basilica as the lights slowly came on to highlight the ceiling covered completely in gold was amazing. Guide was great and very knowledgable.

This was worth seeing. I would go again. The tour guide was great. You get to see things that no one else does on a day tour

The tour of Dodge's Palace was good. The tour of St. Mark's after hours was amazing. The way they lite the church was just breath taking. Our guide was great. It was a small group and it was all and more than what we expected.

This tour was exceptional mainly because of our guide, Alessandro. From the time we started walking across St. Mark's Square, he started giving us information about Venetian history both ancient and recent . It was fascinating and especially interesting to my granddaughter who is a college history major. It was great visiting the Doges Palace and St. Mark's Basilica after the crowds had gone. The inside of the Basilica when it is lit up at night is beautiful. Having the perfect guide for this tour really made it special. Alessandro's knowledge and passion for the history of Venice and these places in particular set this tour apart from all the other tours I took on my three week visit to the Mediterranean.

I would recommend this tour. Our tour guide Marie - Therese was very knowledgeable with in-depth information and friendly. She made sure that her entire group was included in the tour incl. kids. She answered all the questions asked and was very informative. The tour was great with minimal crowd leading to a very good learning experience. I would surely

I cannot remember our guide's name and what a shame--he was knowledgable and obviously proud of his city. The tour was a little long (I didn't need quite as much time to take in the palace), but overall a fantastic experience and well worth the money.

Our guide, Alessandro, was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and invested in the history of Venice and St. Mark's Basilica (born and raised in Venice). The church is incredible and the context he provided was excellent.
