Wild Scotland Express - 5 daysTake in the best of wild Scotland on this 5-day group tour. The last day of a 5 day tour was a bit of an anticlimax, lots of miles and much same landscape with few stops.

Return to the mainland for a final journey through Ullapool and historic Culloden Moor.Worldwide Touring9The tour was great, which was due a lot to having two great tour leaders. Cameron W. and Jamie K. were both very knowledgeable, helpful, had great wit /humour & would "go the extra mile" for all travellers. We visited many interesting places & sights & experienced all types of weather. The B&B in Plockton had a very small bedroom and shower. The B&B in Oban had a smallish bedroom, odd bathroom and had to eat breakfast sitting on the bed. Breakfast was not satisfactory - hard bagel rolls.

The views were captivating and would of loved more time to do a walk. The only comment we would make is the B&B at Ullapool. The room was far too small for two people and the shower/bathroom area was smaller. The food was great though!!

Isle of Skye was great especially when we went and the weather kept the hoards down. Iona was neat to see the monastery and learn the history. Catty was GREAT!!! knew her history and geology of the fault and kept a great conversation going. Black house cool. Aly was just ok. Storm Amy. Not enough time in Inverness for a Macbeth lover. Not getting to Orkney Island (understandable)

The stay at the Balmacara Hotel could have been better. This is an expensive hotel which is too far from the town and/or other places to eat. The breakfast was good but the evening menu was very limited and very expensive. There was a lot more to see and restaurant choices in Portree.

He had the most infectious enthusiasiam for everything Scotland. Everywhere we drove and visited, Pete was able to show us things to see, do, eat, shop & gave us something thought provoking to think about. Our second driver for the second part of the trip. I wouldnt even call him a 'Tour Guide' - he only reluctantly drove us places.
