Mount Fuji experience :Japanese Inn , traditional Japanese food, onsen & yukata dress-up More stories or explanations about attractions that we visit Some tour members tend to take more of the guide’s time than others Difficult to rate the food apart from the Japanese Inn we stayed in as we only had breakfast. PS This is our second On The Go tour in 2years. Did Spain/Portugal in 2025.

Loved our free time in Tokyo especially in and around Shibuya and Harajuku. Loved every minute in Kyoto - could have done with an extra day there… Mt Fuji area was amazing especially with all the cherry blossoms. Probably had too much time allocated to the National museum in Tokyo, would have preferred the option for more time around the temple in Asakusa, or a visit to the Sky Tree or Tokyo Tower.

I loved Kamakura the peace of the bamboo forest and the cherry blossom. The cherry blossom everywhere was fabulous. Our guide was really knowledgeable and interesting and helpful, he had endless patience and good humour I would have liked a better end to the tour. It would have been nice to have one last meal together and it felt a bit odd for the tour to end in the middle of Kyoto rather than at the hotel.I would have liked a few less busy places or trying to get to places early in the day before they got busy.

Great tour to discover some highlights of Japan. I loved the stay at Lake Kawaguchi and Mt Fuji. Tokyo was fascinating. Toshi, our guide, was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. A lot of time was spent on logistics. Despite being advertised as a tour with a certain fitness level required, we avoided walking or climbing stairs at certain sights.

The bike ride through Osaka castle was an experience I will never forget! I haven’t been on a bike for a few years and I’d forgotten how exhilarating it is! Also the Shankensan (bullet train) was the best experience ever, and I believe everyone should experience it in their lifetime Everyday was so well planned and we got to see so many sights that I just loved it all! We had the best tour guide and were very lucky as he was so knowledgeable!

Loved every part of the tour, each place had a special feature and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. No negative aspects.

The stay near Mt Fuji was amazing and the visit to the Hiroshima museum was so moving and important to include.

I think the day trip to Nara was our favorite day. This was a more laid back type day. It was still kinda crowded but we skipped very touresty areas. The pace on the first day of Tokyo was extreme. We got over 25000 steps and criss-crossed the city. It could have been split into 2 days with the amount of places visited. The least favorite thing for me was the boat ride at Hakone. Way too packed, long wait, & had to stand outside.
