My boyfriend and I loved this tour! Our tour guide was amazing and so knowledgeable. We got to see New York in one day during our short weekend stay.

Our guide, Dina, and our driver, Gerardo, were great. Dina was extremely knowledgeable. She gave us tons of information about the history of NYC and other pearls of wisdom. Gerardo did his best to negotiate the impossible traffic of a beautiful Saturday afternoon. However, they managed to get us to all the attractions, even if the tour ran late. Then Dina helped us get to our next event despite the late hour! This tour is a perfect introduction to NYC. This was my second Viator tour in NYC and it did not disappoint.

This is the best way to see NYC. I only had one day to visit Manhattan while I was in NY and I'm so glad that I chose to book with Viator. I had originally thought of doing one of those hop on hop off double decker tours, but after reading some of their reviews about not being able to find a bus that wasn't full I decided to go with Viator. Best decision that I could have made. It was extremely hot when I went and let me tell you after we would get off the bus to walk and look at something, it was a blessing to get back on an air conditioned bus, and not in the open heat of a double decker bus. The bus is a small bus that holds about 30 people. When I went we had 26 people. I really liked that because you can hear everything that the guide tells you. Now about my tour guide. Rhonda (hope I spelled it right) was incredible. She was so friendly and really knows a lot about the history of NY. I mean this lady is passionate about her city and it shows. You get off the bus quite a few times. The whole time you are riding the bus she is pointing out history and did you know facts. Also when you get off the bus Rhonda carried an umbrella to help you see where she is, and she always counted everyone when we got back on the bus. She was very responsible. I felt 100% safe the whole time in NYC. One thing that I would like to make clear that isn't clear about the tour or in any of the other reviews I saw. On the Viator site it says the tour takes about 6 hours and that lunch isn't included. You DO get to eat lunch, it is just not included in the price. What they do is park the bus for an hour near several places you can eat, and you meet back in an hour. They gave 3 recommendations and all of them were very close to the bus (like directly across the street from the bus, or right beside the bus). Also the places to eat were very reasonably priced. I got two hot dogs and a drink for $6. You can't beat that in NYC. I won't comment on the areas the tour covers because you can see all that on the site. I will say that the places the bus stops gives you plenty of time to view and take pictures of the areas. Finally I will speak on the value of the tour. In my opinion, it is a superb value at $89 for one person (which is the tour I took). To be honest this is the first review I've ever been excited to write about. In closing I will say it is nice to tip the host when the tour is over. It is how the host makes a living. I'm telling you this is THE Tour of NYC.

Mike is a very knowledgable guide, with heaps of stories that only a local would know. His commentary was entertaining. I recommend taking this tour on your first day in New York, so you can then plan the rest of your visit.

for those who do not have much time city, this tour ticks all the boxes: well informed tour guide, great pacing, multi-generational appeal, and a great mix of walking and driving.
• Submitted 02 Aug 2019
Great tour! The guide was very friendly, informative and made the tour lots of fun! Great stops and pass by. I wish there was a similar guide in the boat part of the tour around the statue of Liberty.

New York Tour Had a wonderful tour of NYC on July 25. Tyler was a wealth of knowledge and very funny. She stayed on point and chipper thru 6 hours going all over New York and out on the Hudson. The driver was amazing too. Would highly recommend this tour and you would be super lucky if you had Tyler as your guide! Thank you for a great day!!

I would recommend the tour to people who would like to see NY in a day, of course you could go to specific places on your own. Tim the guide was very good, he took good care of us.

Our guide Rhonda and driver Tony were awesome. Comfortable ride on the bus. Great timing on stops. We covered the best of NYC. Rhonda was a fountain of trivia and NYC history. 6 hour tour breezed by. I have lived in NY all my life and hadn't seen some of these highlights. I will be taking all my out-of-town company on this tour.

An excellent tour of NYC with a great guide. Stopped for an up close walking view of key sights.Tim kept us mostly in the shade on a hot day and injected humor along with relevant facts. Highly Recommended!

Arliss was the best driver! He took to those streets like he owned them, and got us everywhere safely. Gil has so much info with a captivating delivery. I’d just like Gil to remember, it’s because of this great economy under President Trump, ppl are able to afford to take his tour and tip him well. “Kentucky”

We were visiting New York City with our 16 year old son. It was his vacation request. We wanted to show our son all of the important landmarks. After searching the reviews and knowing we had limited time we decided on this tour. New York in a day!! Rachael was our guide and Jerry was our driver. They make a great team. Rachael is so knowledgeable about the city and the history. You could never possibly be bored with Rachael!! Her enthusiasm made the tour so much fun. She is funny, and passionate about NYC. She worked very hard to give us a smooth, informative, unforgettable tour!! Jerry drove the tour bus with perfect precision. It was a smooth comfortable ride. I would highly recommend this tour. Ask for Rachael!!!

Overall a great tour, Gil was very knowledgeable about landmarks, buildings, and the activity within the areas toured. Gil happily volunteered to take photos of group members and their families when we stopped at attractions, and he allotted us plenty of time to see and experience each stop. Arlis got us safely everywhere we needed to be. Very organized. They also provided bottled water for us. We referred a friend, hope they get you guys the week of the 22nd!

We did this tour our first day in town- which was perfect timing so we learned what things/sites we wanted to go spend more time at later in the week. I would highly recommend doing this early on in your trip for that reason. Wonderful overview of the city - hit the highlights and enjoyed the day tremendously. Saw a little bit of everything - went back later in week to spend more time at Central Park. If this is your first visit to the city - go spend the day on the bus! It’s worth it.

Neil was an EXCELLENT guide. Would encourage others to take this 7 hour sightseeing adventure I don’t usually review trips but this one was too good not to recommend to others.

My wife and I were impressed with USA Guided Tours on the 11th May.Tim's enthusiasm, communication skills and knowledge were delivered with good humour. He made a good tour great! He was kind to the travellers and well organised.Tim got us from A to B and on time with the help of the driver, Arles ( hope the spelling is right). So 3 cheers for him too.Tim made sure we had 2 restroom breaks and 30 minutes for lunch. The amount that we saw in the 6-6.5 hours was incredible!Obviously, some attractions would have more interest for individuals than others, but the balance for us was just right.Tim gave us so much information that would help you to explore some areas again in your own time and find some nice restaurants, where New Yorkers would go.Tim can also give a lot of interesting facts about buildings and also the movie industry relating to NYC.He is happy to answer questions too. We were able to see the Dakota Building/Imagine circle and "Strawberry Fields" in Central Park/Rockefeller Plaza/St Patrick's Church/View of Flat Iron Building/Empire State/One World Observatory/9-11 memorial/ Oculus building/ Hornblower Cruise Boat(Pier 15) to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island(from the boat). It is a whirlwind tour, but gives you a great flavour of NYC and we felt it was well worth it!
