Sunday. Following your arrival in Nairobi, we will transfer you to the start hotel. A pre-departure group meeting with your tour leader is scheduled for the early evening. Please look for information from your tour leader at the hotel reception regarding the time of this meeting. Nairobi - Lake Nakuru. We descend into the Great Rift Valley, stopping at Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to a veritable colony of wildlife. It supports a population of black rhino, lion, leopard, zebra, antelope and giraffe not to mention millions of pink flamingos and the lake itself is a shallow soda lake. After checking in to our safari lodge inside the national park, embark on an afternoon safari game drive, in search of the resident black and white rhino, buffalo, impala, and the elusive leopard. Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha. We set off for the fresh water of Lake Naivasha. The highest of the Rift Valley lakes, Naivasha is a sanctuary to bird life. Relax on the shores of the lake under the Acacia trees among birdlife, monkeys, and hippos. Or spend the day enjoying optional activities such as a biking safari in Hell's Gate National Park, a walking safari to view giraffes and antelope, touring the flamingo-filled Green Crater Lake, or bird and wildlife viewing around your chalet, spotting ibis, lovebirds, fish eagles, hippo, and the black and white colobus monkey on the banks of Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara. Journey to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. With its vast open plains and distinctive flat-topped acacia trees, no visit to Kenya would be complete without a visit here! The highlight of the Mara is no doubt the annual wildebeest migration, when literally millions of these beasts plus zebra and Thomson’s gazelle stray north from the Serengeti in neighbouring Tanzania in search of lush grass on the savannah plains. Elephant, lion, cheetah, giraffe and a multitude of hooved herbivores also inhabit the reserve. Enjoy a full day of game viewing with excellent chances of seeing the “Big 5” - lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino. Overnight - Masai Mara National Park (B:3, L:3, D:3)

Masai Mara - Nairobi. Enjoy one last morning game drive before breakfast and then depart for the journey back to Nairobi in the afternoon. Spend the last night relaxing or having a final drink and meal with your group. Overnight - Nairobi (B)
